Van Rysel has announced the launch of the Van Rysel RCR Pro Ultegra Di2 Power Sensor in a new colourway: Abyss Green.
The launch of the RCR Pro in a bold and eye-catching colourway sees the Decathlon-owned brand push its WorldTour-stage-winning bikes further into a territory previously seen as the exclusive preserve of well-known USA-based brands and a certain German DTC brand, with the launch messaging further underlining this point:
“This bold and eye-catching colourway ensures that cyclists not only experience top-tier performance but also stand out on the road with a truly unique style.” – if you looked up ‘brand confidence’ in The Drum dictionary of modern marketing, this is what it would look like.
Hard not to admire how the global Decathlon business has been reinvigorated by its early 2024 brand and strategy relaunch.
Certainly, the Van Rysel brand has ridden a wave, taking the performance cycling sector by the horns, showing a brand and marketing energy which comes from what many would have previously considered a very unlikely source.
