JOB TITLE – Marketing Manager
LOCATION – Head Office Based, Saddleback Limited, Yate
RESPONSIBLE TO -Commercial Director
SALARY – Above industry standard – reflective of industry leading brands.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for someone who is confident and social to help lead an already strong and resourceful team to build and promote in a creative and fun manner.
The primary aim of this role is to plan and implement a direction for the marketing team with strategic input from the Commercial Director. This will be realised through creating and distributing brand building and commercial supporting material through multiple channels to grow awareness and sales.
In addition, there will be a strong team management role to play in deploying
- Brand Marketing
- Responsible for marketing all the brands in the Company’s products portfolio (including the Saddleback brand) to the consumer, dealer and media.
- Responsible for developing a seasonal marketing strategy plan and campaigns per brand, through to delivery.
- Manage the delivery of product placement to the media.
- Commission print and digital campaigns.
- Commission dealer and consumer catalogues.
- Commission dealer store POP and shop-in-shop programs.
- Manage and deliver the communication of brand activities and marketing plans to suppliers and dealers.
- Provide input into acquisition of brands.
- Further input and initiatives to market all the brands in the Company’s products portfolio to both the consumer and the dealer.
- Trade Events
- Identify, plan and manage the delivery of Trade Events
- Ensure Saddleback and our Brands are best represented
- Public Events
- Identify, plan and manage the delivery of Consumer Events
- Ensure Saddleback and our Brands are best represented
- Sponsorship
- Identify, plan and manage the delivery of athlete sponsorship programs.
- Identify, plan and manage the delivery of ambassidor programs
About You
- Proven experience in Marketing
- Proven experience in People Management
- Social Media Platform experience adventagious
- Advanced Excel skills would be very useful along with a good knowledge of MS Office
- Experience of working with a good ERP would also be advantageous
- A love of road cycling and mountain biking would be greatly beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to produce exceptional work within tight time parameters.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Confident in presenting strategies and influencing key decision-makers.
- Full clean driving license.
