Niner Bikes now available on Decathlon UK online store

Following on from July news that Niner Bikes had launched a direct-to-rider website, the brand has today shared that it is now available via the Decathlon UK online store.

The business sees the move as a strong means to bolster eyes on for the Niner Bikes brand, with the UK listing representing the visible start of the two businesses working together. Taking this a step further, in the next few weeks the Niner Bikes brand will also see a full rollout across Decathlon Europe online.

In sharing the news the business points out that “all the bikes are now being assembled in Europe, and will be shipped to customers 98% assembled – the customer will, within three days, receive the bike pretty much ready to ride.”

The move further extends the reach of Niner Bikes, with the Decathlon relationship offering access to a wider audience, whilst also adding another new means to buy.

Duncan McCann Sales and Marketing Manager said: “In this ever-changing landscape of the cycle industry, we need to form strong partnerships with established retailers as well as our own online presence.

“Decathlon are a natural partner for us with them having a strong representation in Europe, helping us with our expansion plans.”

United Wheels Inc. – a global holding company which specialises in outdoor brands – acquired Niner in 2018.

Under the ownership of United Wheels, Niner continues to work autonomously while utilising the benefits of being owned by one of the largest and oldest bicycle companies in the world.

The United Wheels portfolio of brands also includes Huffy, Batch Bicycles, VAAST, and Buzz. The business ships more than five million bicycles annually to thousands of retail locations in more than 50 countries. United Wheels has built a brand portfolio with the specific aim of having a bicycle-style for every member of the family.
