Bob Hoogerbrugge becomes brand manager at Oneway Bike

Oneway Bike has appointed Bob Hoogerbrugge – no stranger to the company, having started in 2021 in the workshop, then moving to the Warranty & Aftersales department – as its new Brand Manager.

Hoogerbrugge will combine a passion for cycling and outdoor sports, with a strong understanding of the Oneway business, working with brand partners old and new to further develop and strengthen brand relationships.

As brand manager, Hoogerbrugge will coordinate the brand strategies of these labels within the company. To ensure each brand gets the attention it deserves, he will work closely with the marketing and sales teams as well as the brand partners.

A key focus will be on strengthening the connection between the brands and Oneway, both internally and with dealers.

“I want our brands to truly resonate, both within our team and with our dealers. This way, we can create satisfied shops, happy customers, and a strong market presence,” Hoogerbrugge explains.

Hoogerbrugge has been actively involved in mountain biking since 2015. Building on his outdoor sports training, he has given mountain biking clinics, including at Outdoor Valley in Bergschenhoek, The Netherlands.

Outdoor Valley has been a longstanding partner of Oneway Bike, and through this collaboration, Hoogerbrugge found his way to the company.

Starting the new role with great enthusiasm, Hoogerbrugge comments: “This position is a fantastic opportunity to expand my knowledge and make a real difference for the brands we represent.

“I look forward to building strong, lasting relationships in the cycling industry and inspiring others to be just as passionate about our brands as I am.”
