For the start of the 2024 season, Magura has announced a new top version of the MT7, with the HC3 brake lever, as a special edition bundle.
This special edition sees the Baden-Württemberg, Germany, headquartered business offering the MT7 with the HC3 brake lever, and Storm HC brake rotors (203 mm / 203 mm brake rotors for trail and gravity use), as a bundle, at a unique €399.90 price – a full 20% cheaper than the MT7 PRO set with separate HC3 levers and Storm HC 203 mm.
The MT7 is known for offering maximum braking power and stability at the racing level. For years, it has been the first choice of world-class mountain bikers and trial stars – including Loic Bruni, Danny MacAskill, and Fabio Wibmer.
Instead of the single-finger HC brake lever of the MT7 Pro, the MT7 HC3 brings the individually adjustable HC3 brake lever, with the unique feature being adjustment of the lever ratio (Ratio Adjust), and therefore the braking force. The brake can thus be individually adapted to a rider’s preferences or trail conditions.
Technical details:
- Number of pistons: 4
- Caliper colour: mystic grey/red
- Brake master colour: black/red
- Material brake master: Carbotecture SL
- Lever: 1-Finger HC3
Note: The MT7 HC3 bundle with rotors is initially only available in Europe. Sold in North America as a
single brake.
