Magura training season 2024/2025 has started, with the programme scheduled to engage more than 1,500 dealers, at various locations across Europe and the UK.
This new season brings with it, in addition to the numerous on-site training courses, a further expansion of the brand’s digital knowledge transfer programme, taking the Magura TechAcademy to a new level.
Since Magura Bosch Parts & Services (MBPS) expanded its in-house training programme with the digital Magura TechAcademy in the last three years, it has become a workshop training staple for many dealers.
The consistently positive response from dealers has shown that it is also the right thing to do in the 2024/2025 training season, conveying both old and new training content, freshly prepared in eleven time-effective learning modules.
In addition to the popular face-to-face training courses, online training courses are also back.
As usual, the content will be conveyed by Magura trainers in a dialogue with the participants and practical exercises.
MAGURA classroom training – now ready for booking
This year, Magura is starting the European training season with more than 50 dates at over 50 locations in six countries, reaching a new high.
The training content has been newly adapted in preparation for the 2025 model year, with this year’s training courses including comprehensive information on Magura innovations, including products like the Gustav Pro brake.
The practical training component of the courses is particularly important. Here Stefan Deyerler, area sales manager South-East and training coordinator Magura Bike, comments: “According to surveys of participants in the face-to-face training courses, they particularly appreciate the practical assistance with our products and the dialogue with the experts. Our current programme will increasingly cater to this wish.”
- The first, classroom-based, European training courses will take place starting November 2024.
- It is now possible to book the dealer training courses in the myMBPS portal.
The brand recommends securing a place as soon as possible, as experience has shown that the face-to-face training courses are quickly fully booked.
Magura TechAcademy – on-demand, digital, training – available from October
If the desired location is already fully booked or the date is unsuitable, Magura offers dealers its on-demand training platform as an online, digital, alternative.
Access to the TechAcademy is easy thanks to the integration of registration in the myMBPS customer portal, providing flexible access, and a personalised learning experience, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Online learning sees topics focus on information on products, maintenance and service, and innovations for the 2025 model year, and, in doing so, cover a complete programme which would otherwise only be available via brand-hosted on-site training courses.
- The Magura TechAcademy includes 11 learning modules for the coming season.
- Each module is up to 15 minutes long.
- Nine video modules provide information on Magura product groups, each divided into product and service information.
- In addition to detailed explanations of the product features, the videos contain practical tips on servicing the respective products.
- Two further modules provide useful information on the company, warranty processing and other services provided by MBPS as Magura’s exclusive sales partner.
Stefan Deyerler, Magura area sales manager South / East, and Dominik Voss, Magura marketing, content and PR manager, will guide online participants through training modules.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Magura training certificate.
In addition, useful content such as the 100+ page TechTalk workshop manual is available for download as a PDF throughout the year.
Daniela Kemmler, MBPS marketing and training management, comments: “The Magura TechAcademy is the perfect addition, for example, to familiarise new employees with Magura know-how in an entertaining and time-efficient way during the year, because they can join at any time between October and July.”
- Registration for the TechAcademy will be available in October 2024.
- Specialist dealers will be informed by newsletter at the start.
- Access to the TechAcademy 2024/2025 will cost €22 plus VAT.
