VAS Rent a Bike, presented by VAS Cycling Boutique, will be the official bike rental partner for festival attendees at Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava Girona by Continental 2024.
As well as being the official supplier of rental bikes for festival attendees, the Spanish retailer will also be exhibiting its products and services at the 2024 edition of the show.
This new partnership comes as part of ongoing moves by the organisers of Sea Otter Europe to enhance the festival’s sustainability credentials, looking at how attendees travel to the festival, as well as to make it easier to get around the festival, whilst also offering more services, to further enhance the visitor experience.
For its home Spanish marketplace, VAS Rent a Bike caters to the needs of cyclists and triathletes, as well as offering its bike rental service via a dedicated website.
The four-site business – Roquetas de Mar, La Nucía, Madrid, and Mallorca – aims to target a more digital cyclist, who comes to the shop for personal treatment, but who relates to the cycling world mainly through their mobile phone, both on a social and transactional level.
VAS Cycling Boutique is also working to position its location in Arganda del Rey (Madrid) as a VASLAB, where they offer 360º services to athletes: from biomechanics, training & nutrition, to the latest in repair technology (carbon, forks, state-of-the-art e-bike motors, etc).
To facilitate Sea Otter Europe participants’ experience, VAS Rent a Bike will offer the possibility of renting a range of high-end, high spec, bikes via a dedicated page on its website.
On the dedicated Sea Otter Europe bike rental page, those looking to rent will select the following:
⦁ Choosing a date
⦁ Selecting a bike
⦁ Adding any extras
⦁ Confirming the booking

2023 saw some 65’000 people attend the three-day Girona-hosted show. The site on which the event is located played host to more than 400 exhibitors, with stands showcasing sport, leisure and transport-focused bicycles and accessories.
For the 2024 edition, the available exhibitor space has once again been expanded, by 15% compared to the 2023 edition, which means that more than 40,000 square metres of exhibition space will be available.
The seventh edition, supported by Continental, received attendees from 112 countries. This exceeds the figure of 62 nationalities recorded in 2022 and highlights the international scope of the event, which, over three days, packs the city of Girona and its surrounding area with fans of life on a bike.
