MAGURA has been a synonym for high-performance bicycle components since its founding in 1893.

More than 130 years later and the brand is entering 2024 by continuing its trend of producing high-tech parts.

Leading the line-up this season is a completely new development of wireless seat posts with the third evolutionary stage of the VYRON.

Thanks to its intuitive operation, lightning-fast response and extension speed, and high

level of resilience with IP67 certification, the VYRON MDS-V3 is even more user-friendly and reliable than its predecessors.

Eight years ago, MAGURA ushered in a new era of electronically controlled bicycle components.

The MAGURA VYRON was the first Vario seat post on the market to be equipped with wireless remote control and has received several awards since then.

This third evolutionary stage of the VYRON was developed from scratch and sets new standards for intuitive operation, resilience and speed.

“It offers redesigned inner workings, new electronics and a newly developed, ergonomic remote control,” explains Fabian Wurster, VYRON product manager.

“Most notably, we switched from ANT+ remote technology to high-speed Bluetooth, making its operation much more intuitive. The duration of the thumb pressure determines how long the seat post will be adjusted, so the rider no longer has to depend on a fixed time interval of the actuator. And that with a travel of up to 175 mm.”

It can also be optionally mounted on the brake master with the MAGURA Shiftmix clamp.

An aluminium protective ring ensures high resistance to impacts or falls.

“Water and dirt are the enemies of all electronics” says Wurster. “To effectively protect the head of the new VYRON from dirt and water, we dispensed with a charging socket. We now use a replaceable CR2 lithium battery instead and a sealed, screwed battery cover.”

Thanks to this pioneering battery concept, the new VYRON is IP67-certified and will survive brief immersions in water – so it’s prepared for the UK’s weather when hitting the trails.

So, for whom is the VYRON the right choice?

“For everyone,” says Wurster.

“From cross country to enduro. It’s available with 100, 125, 150 and 175 mm travel variants and diameters of 30.9 and 31.6 mm.”

MT Sport

As a storied brand with a track-record of supplying market-leading braking systems, MAGURA is continuing to develop its product offering for the 2024 season.

The MT Sport is an affordable, reliable and easy mounting two piston brake making it the perfect product for any workshop or store.

The entry into the MAGURA MT world, it has all of the high-tech features of German engineering skill, such as lightweight Carbotecture components and the improved MAGURA Disctube cable for safe stopping on tour and in the city.

Disctube is MAGURA’s proprietary rigid brake line that ensures maximum braking force for cross-country, touring or urban use.

As with all MAGURA brakes, it is also possible to change the lever as desired and adapt the look to individual wishes. Standard MT Sport brakes come with a comfortable two-finger lever blade.

MT Trail Sport

100% trail braking performance for the price-conscious customer.

The MT Trail Sport has almost as much bite as its big brother and is just as light and sensitive.

The MAGURA entry into the 4/2 brake piston concept with safe power for trail use.

A 4/2 piston configuration has been proven by renowned pro riders since its introduction and now riders can feel the same, thanks to MAGURA, without having to make a large investment.

MT Trail Sport combines the braking force of the MT5 with the modulation of the MT8 making it the perfect mix of performance and value.

The new one-finger HC aluminium lever blade has been ergonomically optimised and is now also suitable for riders with somewhat smaller hands.

Thanks to its modified geometry, it can be ridden closer to the handlebars, resulting in increased control and more comfort on long descents.

Its increased piston retraction makes the MT Trail Sport particularly dependable in continuous use. Mounting is also fast and the MT Trail Sport is friction-free.

Five year guarantee

To support riders and retailers, MAGURA is willing to go above and beyond.

In addition to the statutory warranty, MAGURA grants the first buyer a five-year leak proof guarantee on brake masters, calipers and cylinders if the brake is mounted on a bicycle as original equipment or has been purchased from a dealer as a retrofit.

The guarantee is valid for five years from the date of purchase.

To make life easier, registration for the five-year leak proof guarantee is not necessary.
