Cycle Technician/Retailer – Cycle Heaven Ltd
Cycle Heaven is one of the North’s largest cycle retailers. The successful candidate will work at all three of our stores: our HQ, an exceptional large flagship store with a lively cafe; Cycle Heaven at the (York railway) Station, and also in our neighbourhood workshop – CH at the Angel. We are a lively business full of hard-working people who pride themselves on high standards of customer service and dedication to cycling advocacy.
Duties include: the assembly of new cycles including e-bikes, repairs to a diverse range of cycles, serving customers as we operate an open workshop, and occasional retail duties. We also deliver basic maintenance tuition to our customers. The successful candidate would have the confidence and aptitude to help develop this programme further.
We are looking for a team player who is passionate about cycling; a person of sterling character with a demonstrable mechanical aptitude and competence, plus a familiarity with all the systems on modern bicycles. A clean driving licence would also be very useful.
Retail/Online Orders Assistant – Giant Loughton
We are looking for an experienced retail assistant/online order processor to work in our bike shop on the edge of Epping Forest. This is a role and will include weekends, exact days to be agreed and does have a level of flexibility. Problem solving, ownership and communication are very key to this roll as the business continues to expand and grow. We currently operate from one single location but are looking to expand over the next 12-18 months to an additional secondary site.
You will be: polite and customer focussed, well organised and driven, computer literate – (word/excel/outlook), presentable and friendly, able to deal with problems, communicate with customers/suppliers and resolve any challenges, must possess ownership and responsibility values, and have the ability to work as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in same or similar industry. The role offers flexible working hours and role flexibility for the right candidate and presents the opportunity to take ownership a much larger role as the business expands. Understanding of secondary marketplaces such as Facebook/Ebay and Amazon would also prove to be a key attribute as we continue to grow.
Junior Buyer PAC – Tredz Bikes

Working within the Commercial team, as a Junior Buyer you will lead on the Parts and Accessories categories to deliver an exciting and attractive product range to our consumers. You will be instrumental in negotiating contracts, terms and process with our world class suppliers and supporting the maintenance of our successful and long- term relationship with them. You will manage product lifecycles end to end, and work in collaboration with other departments at Tredz to deliver timely, accurate, industry leading ranges as a performance cycling retailer.
You will need experience of working in procurement or purchasing role and preferably specialised knowledge in the cycling industry, but this is not essential. You will need to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving abilities, be able to negotiate and communicate effectively, relationship and stakeholder management skills are also essential.
