The system reads terrain inputs up to 400 times per second, sensing, transmitting, and adjusting the shock in a claimed 1/70th of a second.
This reaction to bumps or changes captures every possible moment of efficiency on trail, and harnesses every opportunity for speed, all while maintaining traction, control, and comfort – no matter the riding conditions or riding level.
The rider sets their compression and rebound once, and the system immediately adjusts between support or plushness depending on the terrain.
Three key elements contribute to the speed of Live Valve Neo.
Sensors transmit only essential data when necessary, avoiding unnecessary communication lag.
The Neo protocol relays information to the Controller in just one millisecond.
A magnetic latching solenoid controls the compression circuit with speed and efficiency, creating a fast switch between suspension modes.
The Fox Bike App supports all aspects of Live Valve Neo, offering features like setup tutorials, firmware updates, and Live Valve Neo Tunes.
Riders can select from five preset Tunes — Standard, Firm, Plush, Open, and Closed — and can store and customise their Tunes to suit any trail condition or preference.
