GT Bicycles has expanded its UK and international operations with two new appointments.
Ash Clark reunites with GT after previously working with the brand for more than 17 years.
Taking on a new global role, heading up GT’s international sales efforts, Clark takes with him a deep knowledge and passion for product, and experience in sales management on both a local and international level.
In the immediate term, he will also develop GT’s business in the south UK region.
Following his appointment, Clark said: “It’s a real honour to work directly for the brand, GT has been a personal favourite ever since I started mountain biking nearly 30 years ago and I am excited to join the team.
“Everyone has a GT story, mine is that my first ever mountain bike was a GT Outpost Trail, a great bike to get into riding back in the day. GT is gathering momentum, and we welcome dealers to get on board with this iconic brand”.
Carly Forward has also joined the UK team as UK sales administrator.
Forward was previously key account administrator at CSG UK and takes a wide range of expertise and experience to the GT team, as well as many years of working with the brand.
She is a keen mountain biker, specifically buying a house just riding distance to the local trails and has competed in the Megavalanche race in France.
Forward commented: “I am hugely excited to join the GT team. GT is an innovator, not afraid to challenge the norm and everyone at GT has incredible passion for the brand which I am proud to be part of”.
Josh Whiting, UK sales manager for GT Bicycles, added: “Adding Ash and Carly shows our commitment to UK dealers and our ambition to grow the brand.
“Carly will support dealers’ day to day, offering a constant point of contact and Ash will work with the southern dealer network while developing international sales. Along with Clive Gosling as our marketing resource, we’re building a formidable team to support the UK market needs.”
