DMT introduce all-new KM4 and KM4PJ MTB shoes

DMT shoes have introduced an entry-level range of off-road shoes with the new 2024 DMT KM4, and KM4PJ variants, available in white or black.

The KM4 features an upper made from an open-knit fabric, or mesh, designed to ensure breathability and lightweight.

Given the stress that off-road activity places on shoes and materials, the mesh aims to keep feet cool and dry even during the most intense training sessions. The upper structure is said to be both durable and flexible, providing long-lasting comfort and a precise fit.

The closure system features the BOA L6, whose technology offers greater micro-adjustment, durability, sustainability, and lightness, thanks to its specialized laces. The KM4 also features a ventilated nylon sole with adjustable 8-millimeter eyelets.

The KM4PJ is designed for those who prefer laces over the BOA system but retains all other features of the KM4.

Like the KM4, these shoes come with a microfiber tongue designed to make them easy to put on, ideal even for those with high arches.

The tongue, with its lightweight and flexible structure, is designed to comfortably wrap around the foot, for a precise and comfortable fit. The microfiber tongue is said to reduce friction, and provide a cooling sensation, further enhancing comfort during use.

DMT and MTB

DMT aims to collaborate more and more with top-tier entities in the MTB world. It’s no coincidence that this year, the Verona-based company partnered with the Decathlon Ford Racing Team – a French cross-country team racing at UCI XC World Cup level, with riders also selected to take part in the 2024 Paris Olympics – maintaining constant contact to continuously raise the bar in designing and manufacturing off-road shoe models.

UK distribution

Availability for the UK market is still to be confirmed by the brand’s distributor, Chicken CycleKit.

The Leighton Buzzard-based business has a multi-brand relationship with DMT parent, Diamant S.R.L., also representing Cipollini on these shores.
