Bianchi launches two new colourways for Oltre RC

Bianchi has introduced its “vision for the aesthetic future” of the Italian brand’s flagship aero Oltre RC bike.

Launched on August 1, 2024, both colourways feature a refreshed graphic scheme, with a dominant colour and an accent stripe from the head tube. Each also bears the Reparto Corse logo on the non-drive side of the down tube – a reminder that the Oltre RC comes from the company’s racing division.

The first of the new palettes (ZE code) is a contemporary retelling of the brand’s iconic Celeste. It combines the original CK16 tone with a sophisticated metallicised version of the pigment. “This fusion of the essential and the avant-garde is amplified by a full glossy finish, which brings into sharper relief the contrast between the two” states the announcement.

With the Metallic Celeste colourway, Bianchi “speaks to the long-standing admirers of the brand, while also broadening the appeal of its historic shade”.

The second, Black Carbon UD, colourway (ZW code) is “a futuristic interpretation combining black, exposed raw carbon fibre with the aforementioned metallic Celeste”.

Here the brand points out “The high-tech appearance mirrors the advanced performance features of the Oltre RC, with the naked constructive material serving to take the viewer into the frame”. The reduced paint on the frame also serves to lighten the overall weight (60 gr +/- 5% less than the celeste version).

Exploring the Black Carbon UD colourway further, Bianchi states it “speaks to those riders inspired by performance. A matt finish is used to emphasise the technical complexity of the bike”.

Both dynamic colourways are immediately available to order.

The Oltre RC is the aero bike used by Arkéa-B&B Hotels, who won stage two of the Tour de France last month through Kévin Vauquelin.

The two new Oltre RC colourways can also be ordered as frame/handlebar kit only, with the following RRP:

  • Oltre RC | Shimano Dura Ace DI2: €13,499
  • Oltre RC | Sram Red AXS: €13,499
  • Frame kit (with handlebars and bike-computer mount): €5,599
