Velo De Ville has presented the Loady, the brand’s first longtail bike in an effort to offer an innovative solution for urban cargo transport.
The longtail-typical feature of the Loady is the extended rear frame, which offers additional storage space.
But Velo De Ville takes this further and brings customisation and modularity to the longtail segment. This makes it possible to transport both luggage and people.
Families in particular benefit from the spacious rear seat with suitable footrests, which offers up to two children a safe and comfortable ride.
The Loady’s diverse configuration options allow the bike to be customised to the user’s individual needs.
Whether padded seat benches and footrests for transporting children or various attachment options for bags and boxes – the modularity of the Loady makes it a first-class choice for all urban transport requirements.
An aluminium frame ensures a stable yet lightweight construction that “guarantees excellent riding stability even when fully loaded” according to the brand..
Two stands provide additional stability: an optional side stand for easy parking when unloaded and a standard two-legged stand with remote lockout on the cockpit, which offers stability even when loaded on sloping ground.
The Family Edition with the ride bar can also be parked upright.
