Santini introduce Great Classics collections

As part of the agreements between Santini and A.S.O., a partnership that includes the supply of leader jerseys for the Tour de France, as well as dedicated capsule collections for other races in the A.S.O. circuit, Santini has introduced the Paris-Roubaix, La Flèche Wallonne, and Liège-Bastogne-Liège collections.

With Paris-Roubaix, La Flèche Wallonne, and Liège-Bastogne-Liège, representing three of the most important road races, each race has received a dedicated line.

The three Santini capsule collections consist of jerseys, shorts, base layers, and accessories, with colours and patterns inspired by the characteristic elements of these races.

Each collection offers cycling enthusiasts the opportunity to wear garments designed to celebrate the history and unique challenges of these legendary competitions. These ranges are available now, via Santini, and in selected cycling stores worldwide.

The Paris-Roubaix Collection

The Paris-Roubaix Vélodrome design pays tribute to the Roubaix velodrome, known as the André-Pétrieux Velodrome, which has been the finish line for this competition since 1943. The jersey design is inspired by the various chromatic shades that characterize the atmosphere of the velodrome during competitions, creating a dynamic and vibrant visual effect. The Paris-Roubaix collection includes a jersey, shorts, a sleeveless base layer, a cap, gloves, and socks.

La Flèche Wallonne Collection

La Flèche Wallonne design pays homage to the famous final climb of the Mur de Huy, also known as the “Chemin des Chapelles” for its path lined with seven chapels. The design is characterized by the word “HUY”, skilfully crafted with the characteristic red bricks of Wallonia. The symbol of the “arrow” that appears on each item of this kit is a clear reference to La Flèche Wallonne, as are the yellow and red colours that recall the flag of Wallonia. La Flèche Wallonne collection consists of a jersey, shorts, a sleeveless base layer, and a cap.

The Liège-Bastogne-Liège Collection

The Liège-Bastogne-Liège design celebrates the “queen of the classics”, also known as the Doyenne, the oldest of the five cycling monuments. Liège-Bastogne-Liège unfolds within the Ardennes massif, where the Ourthe River and its tributaries have carved deep valleys. The design was developed by mapping the profiles of the major climbs to create a modern and abstract graphic element, with a clear reference to the Ardennes forest. The Liège-Bastogne-Liège collection consists of a jersey, shorts, a sleeveless base layer, and a cap.

Fit and finish

The jersey is designed with a classic fit. Thanks to the Race fabric on the front and back, mesh on the sides, and raw-cut sleeves, this highly breathable jersey is ideal for rides on warmer days. The silicone elastic around the waist ensures a perfect grip while riding. The jersey is finished with a long covered zip and reflective details.

The shorts are made of a compact, high-elasticity Italian fabric with technology that provides medium compression without restricting movement. They are finished with a raw-cut elastic band at the leg bottom and breathable mesh braces for incredible comfort. The GITevo pad with gel core offers high anti-shock protection and is ideal even for long distances.
