Sales/Workshop – Team Cycles

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, assisting customers hiring bikes. Performing a range of bike maintenance and repair tasks too look after our hire fleet.

As part of the role, you will: greet and assist customers with their bike hire needs, provide expert advice on bike selection, components, and accessories, maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest bike models and industry trends, handle sales transactions accurately and efficiently, and ensure the showroom is clean, organised, and visually appealing.

You will also perform bike maintenance/repairs / services to our hire fleet and customer repairs, diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, assemble new bikes and conduct pre-delivery inspections, and ensure all work is completed in a timely manner, meeting customer expectations.

Cycle Mechanic – GC Bike Repairs

GC Bike Repairs is the South Costs fastest growing cycle repair and servicing business. Due to continued expansion we are now looking for cycle mechanics in the Portsmouth area. We work directly with consumers and their bikes as well as managing a portfolio of b2b contract work and you will be expected to work between the two.

Your key responsibilities will include: bicycle repairs and maintenance, diagnose and troubleshoot issues with bicycles, perform routine maintenance tasks, such as adjusting gears, brakes, and tire pressure, repair or replace damaged or worn-out parts, including chains, pedals, and spokes, and ensure that all repairs meet safety standards.

As a Cycle Mechanic, you will also be expected to deliver: customer service, inventory management, documentation, quality assurance. Previous experience as a bicycle mechanic is often preferred, with the ideal candidate being proficient in bicycle mechanics and repair techniques, and having a familiarity with a variety of bicycle types, including road bikes, mountain bikes, and hybrid bikes.

Manager – The Charity Bike Shop (CFC Retail)

At first glance our Charity Bike Shops are like any other, as you might expect we offer bikes, workshop services, new parts and accessories, the difference being is that all the bikes we sell have been donated by the public, we refurbish them and once sold the proceeds go towards to helping kids with cancer through our own charity, Cyclists Fighting Cancer (CFC).

Based at our extensive new premises in Canada Water, we are looking for a cycle industry professional with an interest in sustainability and the social value of bikes to join the team. Ideally the successful candidate will have experience in the cycle trade, both on the shop floor and in the workshop, sales, and mechanically experienced to a standard where you are able to supervise others.

After initial training you will be expected to oversee all aspects of the shop function, including using our software system which controls the orderbook, workshop calendar and epos. Good communication at all levels with colleagues, volunteers, our other branches, and CFC charity staff are of course essential. Your working week will consist of five full days. Going forward, success will be shown by your ability to manage the team, the development, the recruitment, and the ongoing training our amazing volunteer workforce.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the job holder is responsible for delivering the ZyroFisher consumer marketing plan. With an unparalleled portfolio of market leading cycling brands, there will be numerous projects in progress at any one time.

The job holder is responsible for coordinating business requests for marketing support, creating, developing and documenting the plans for each approved project in conjunction with the marketing team, monitoring progress and evaluating the utilisation of both internal and external resources.

Retail Support – Giant UK

Working for a world leading, global bicycle brand, the role will involve working closely with your partnered Retail Sales Manager and the retailers in their dedicated area. You will be responsible for providing an industry leading service to Giant’s loyal and passionate retail network offering every aspect of support, including dealing with warranty claims, processing sales orders, and dealing with Click & Collect and stock consignment for our franchise stores.

The successful candidate will be a highly organised and motivated individual, ideally with previous administrative and customer service experience with the ability to work in a time-critical, and on occasion, pressured environment. You will be very task-focused with excellent attention to detail, a friendly and helpful telephone manner, and a can-do attitude towards all our retailer’s needs.

Working in a small team, you will be a team player who is a confident communicator both verbally and written with a natural ability to build rapport easily with our valued retailers. You will be able to manage a varied and busy workload whilst showing a willingness to learn additional skills outside of the role. You must possess an excellent understanding of MS Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of bikes, componentry, rider accessories and technical knowledge would be extremely advantageous.
