Santini has launched the Ombra unisex collection for SS24, incorporating a host of fabric technologies.
The Ombra short sleeve jerseys are available in six colours, and the long sleeve jersey is available in three.
The short sleeve jersey makes use of Polartec’s Power Stretch fabric on front and back for durable shape recovery and Polartec’s Delta on the sides to transmit sweat away from the body. It also benefits from UPV30+ sun protection.
A slim fit, with elongated raw cut sleeves and internal silicon gripper at the waistband, ensures the jersey remains in position. Triple back pocket allows the rider to store all they need.
The long sleeve option is described as “a race fit jersey with an eco friendly attitude”.
Designed to be light and breathable but with a high sun protection filter (UPF 50+) to protect from sunburn, the long sleeve Ombra is made with recycled fabrics coming from PET and waste yarns for a fresh feel on the skin.
This jersey is one of the small steps Santini is making to create a more sustainable future.
A long, covered zipper increases comfort and thermal regulation. As seen on the short sleeve product, there is a triple rear pocket and a waist with elastic and a silicon gripper to keep it in place.
Jon Sangan, Santini UK sales manager, said: “Ombre is at the heart of Santini’s inclusive and sustainability policies, but it also is an extremely practical solution to a buying decision.
“The dilemma of buyers in whether to invest in both male and female ranges is in one go removed, by having a Unisex fit. The only decision then is how do I choose from all these colours.”
Ombre, along with Santini Inline and Custom collections, will be on show at COREbike.
