You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of bicycle problems, recommending and selling appropriate parts and accessories, and maintaining accurate records of all repairs and transactions.
As a Workshop Manager will be responsible for the running and maintaining of an individual Fettle workshop, and ultimately will be accountable for the success and profitability of the workshop itself. They will oversee all touchpoints throughout the customer journey, ensuring that their team is following processes effectively and efficiently. They will be accountable for all operational aspects of the site, including stock, setup, and security, as well as the performance and development of the mechanics working in this site.
Cycle Centre Mechanical Assistant – Dean Forest Cycles Ltd
Dean Forest Cycles are an established family run cycle shop and hire centre. We are based in the Forest Of Dean, with miles of trails on our doorstep. We run a hire fleet of around 200 bikes including e-bikes, and have a busy well-established shop, workshop and café onsite. We are looking for an experienced self-motivated individual to join our team assisting in delivering the highest standards of service to our customers.
Applicants must have a minimum of two years cycle industry experience, along with a good understanding of cycle mechanics, or hold a Cytech level 3 qualifications. Good communication skills and a passion for bikes are essential. This could be a full or part time post, working a minimum of 3 days per week and includes some weekend working.
Duties will include: managing and assisting with the bike hire on a daily basis, checking and cleaning bikes before and after each hire, servicing and maintaining the hire fleet, including e-bikes and full suspensions, assisting in training and supervising junior staff, assembling new bikes and carrying out PDIs, serving cycle shop customers including, the sale of new and ex-hire bikes, along with an extensive range of parts and accessories.

The Senior mechanic role is for those who have enough confidence in their ability to repair a wide variety of bikes and their customer service that they are able to support both the Mechanics and the Workshop managers with their key responsibilities.
E-commerce and Product Data Administrator – Wheelbase Lakeland

We live and breathe bikes and have built up a successful business from our headquarters in the Lake District National Park. We have a number of successful retail stores across the UK and our eCommerce division delivers expertly built and packed bicycles nationwide.
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Administrator to join our expanding e-commerce team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimising product data across our e-commerce platform. Your primary focus will be on maintaining accurate and up-to-date product information, ensuring data consistency, and supporting the overall efficiency of our online sales channels.
Responsibilities include: update and manage product listings on the Wheelbase website, ensuring accuracy and consistency in product descriptions, specification details, images and pricing, collaborate with suppliers to obtain high-quality imagery, product information, and specifications to enhance product listings, and conduct regular checks on the website, including functionality, and promptly highlight any issues or errors identified.
Marketing Executive – Oxford Products
As a result of our expanding business, we have established a new position within the marketing department. This executive role will aid the marketing manager and the broader creative team. It carries a particular emphasis on managing social media, press relations, and coordinating events. The role offers a diverse range of responsibilities with promising opportunities for career advancement. This role is full-time and based at the Oxford Products ‘Design, Research, and Development Centre’ (DRDC) in Witney, Oxfordshire.
Specific duties include: Assist with creating great social media content for a range of platforms including Facebook and Instagram, ensuring it is high quality, relevant and engaging, support the marketing manager with day-to-day content planning, creation, scheduling and monitoring, assist the team with events, build up and break down of events. During these events, you’ll be the face of Oxford. These will be a mixture of on and off-site.
A relevant degree or experience within a marketing role is desired. You will be self-sufficient, motivated and proactive approach to work. Non-essential but desired skills include: strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, a full clean driving licence, a love of motorbikes and/or cycle, and the ability/experience creating social media content – video, shorts, reels and photos
