Hiplok introduce anti-angle grinder 1000 Series D locks to European audience

Hiplok will be at Eurobike showcasing the brand’s anti-angle grinder 1000 Series D locks to a European audience, following a successful pre-order phase earlier in 2024.

The show marks the European debut of the anti-angle grinder 1000 Series D locks and ground/wall anchors which have gained extensive media coverage over the past 6 months.

At Eurobike the Hiplok will also be showing an innovative new D lock on-bike carry bracket for the first time as well as a range of new-for-2025 products.

Testing and certification

Independently tested to the highest security standards, the 1000 Series proudly carries the Sold Secure Powered Cycle Diamond and ART 4 Star ratings.

For a European audience, the ART rating is of particular importance.  All ART locks are extensively tested by SKG-IKOB Certification BV.

  • The testing institute carries out more than 20 tests, such as the freezing test, dust test, corrosion test, endurance test, cutting test, tensile strength test and attack test.
  • The requirements and test methods are continuously kept up to date by a Technical Committee which consists of suppliers, manufacturers, the testing institute, the certification body and insurers.

Commenting specifically on the Hiplok 1000 Series D locks, Ben Smith, Hiplok’s co-founder, said, “Security is only as strong as the weakest link, which is why we’ve developed a complete anti-angle grinder security system to protect your prized possessions.

Building on our proven track record in launching the first anti-angle grinder bike lock, we’re excited to launch 1000 Series, the ultimate modular security solution with graphene composite material technology at its core, for wherever you ride or store your bike.”
