Saracen Amplitude AL Elite

Saracen debuts top-end Amplitude AL Elite dirt jump bike

British mountain bike brand Saracen has shared its latest release of dirt jump bikes, kicking things off with the new top-spec Amplitude AL Elite.

The Amplitude AL Elite is the brand’s top-of-the-range dirt jump product aiming at riders that want to take their riding to the next level or are competing.

The new Elite model uses the same Series Three custom butted and hydroformed 6013 alloy tubeset as the ALX frameset to offer a lightweight platform for the rest of the build.

Built with top-spec components, Saracen has completed the Amplitude AL Elite with a 100mm Marzocchi Bomber DJ specific front fork, hydraulic disc brakes and DT Swiss wheelset to complement the purple colourway.

Next up is the Amplitude AL Team with a new colourway added to the line-up. Using the same frame at the AL Elite there’s now two full build options for different budgets.

For those looking at trying their hand at dirt jump riding, the entry level Amplitude CR2 has also had a fresh colourway added to its range. The CR2 uses a 4130 cro-mo tubeset for added durability.

For riders after a little more than what the CR2 has to offer but not quite looking at the Amplitude AL series, then Saracen offers the Amplitude CR3.

The Amplitude CR3 moves to hydraulic disc brakes and an improved RST dirt jump which uses a thru axle front as opposed to a quick release system on the CR2.

A busy start to 2024 for Saracen

This the latest release in an already busy year for the Madison and Sportline in-house brand.

April has already seen the introduction of a new Ariel 30 Elite alongside updates to the existing Ariel range.

The brand has also unveiled a ground-up redesign of the Myst downhill platform.

This was the biggest update to the Myst frame since its inception in 2010 with a lowered shock and centre of gravity change, braking characteristics and suspension kinematics all integrated into the new design.
