South African helmet and protective ride gear brand Leatt has reinvigorated its AllMtn product range, introducing all-new jerseys, pants, and shorts, now providing integrated cargo-carrying features.
The range of apparel (UK prices TBC) aims to enable riders to comfortably carry what they need for all-day adventures without having to wear a bulky pack.
Leatt AllMtn jerseys feature cargo pockets and a hidden waist support belt. This acts as an integrated hip pack – built directly into the jersey – while the waist belt keeps everything in place. Leatt states that this prevents “the annoying feeling of saggy jersey pockets or a constantly shifting hip pack”. A carrier loop on the chest is also designed in, to provide safe, convenient, sunglass storage.
The AllMtn jerseys are offered at four price points with sizes ranging from XS to XXXL.
The 5.0, 4.0 and 3.0 AllMtn jerseys feature a hidden, low-profile, hip bag feature, with integrated pockets on the back.
- MTB 5.0 AllMtn Jersey – long-sleeved all-weather option with a windblock front shell and insulating fleece lining (retailing at USD $119.00).
- MTB 4.0 AllMtn Jersey – for hotter weather, without the 5.0 windblock front and better ventilation all around (retailing at $89.99).
- The 3.0 Jersey – the short-sleeved version of the 4.0 jersey (retailing at USD $74.99).
All models are made with fabric that offers a natural cooling function.
For riders wanting the jersey, but not needing the bespoke waist belt feature, Leatt offers the 2.0 jersey: a casual t-shirt style, without any cargo pockets, retailing for USD $54.99.
AllMtn Bottoms:
The AllMtn pants and shorts include the unique Rear Mission Pack, a tunnel-style pocket for holding a convertible chin bar, protective gear, or a jacket.
For chin bars, two additional loops hidden in the tunnel can be used for a more secure fit without annoying movement. Cargo carrying capacity is further maximized with four water-resistant and padded pockets, plus a key loop.
The durable four-way stretch outer shell is dirt and water-resistant, with increased breathability. Knee and crotch sections are made of a flexible and robust, aramid-like “Rockstrike” material. Leatt states “The overall look and feel of the pants and shorts screams ‘built to be abused’ in roughest riding conditions”.
The AllMtn 5.0 Pants retail at USD $179.00, and the 4.0 Shorts retail at USD$139.00
Rounding out the AllMtn collection are helmets featuring extended rear coverage for added protection, with adjustable/breakaway visors and Maxiflow Air Channels for airflow.
