In Santini Cycling’s summer collection, the Italian brand is offering a range of bib shorts designed to meet every cyclist’s needs, with compression being a key factor.
Three Santini models, available for both men and women, cater to different compression preferences: Unico, Plush, and Redux Speed.
The Unico bib shorts offer light compression, for cyclists who seek comfort during their daily rides.
Crafted from performance Italian microfiber, these bib shorts are designed to offer a sensation of softness and lightness.
The Unico bib shorts fit like a second skin and feature minimal seams, with the few seams being thermo-welded to reduce abrasion risk. The men’s model has elasticated straps with a colourful graphic inside, while the women’s model has a body structure with flat, wide, crisscrossed straps on the back and a large breathable mesh area on the front.
Breathability is also ensured in the men’s model thanks to the perforated structure on the back of the straps.
The padding used is the C3 for men and C3W for women, both featuring a 3D ergonomic surface with differentiated density and gel inserts for cushioning during long rides of up to eight hours.
Another notable feature of the Unico bib shorts is the large iridescent Santini logo on the leg for optimal road visibility. Available in three colours for both men and women: black, navy blue, and burgundy.
The Plush bib shorts are designed to offer medium compression to balance support and comfort. This model is made for medium-distance rides, providing enhanced resistance and durability.
The front straps are highly elastic and seamless, while the back features a breathable mesh panel.
Plush is suitable for rides in temperatures up to +40°C. Made from recycled polyamide, it has a matte finish for a classic, minimal look.
The bib shorts are cut with raw edges at the leg openings and feature internal silicone grip for secure fit.
They come with GITevo padding for men and GILevo for women, suitable for rides up to eight hours, and reflective details on the back of the legs.
For women, the Plush bib shorts are available in black, navy blue, and grey, with an additional military green option for men.
For cyclists needing extra support during long distances or races, the Redux Speed offers the highest compression in the Santini bib short range.
These bib shorts are made with high-compression fabrics designed to reduce muscle fatigue and enhance overall performance, as well as minimise air resistance and optimise aerodynamics.
They feature elastic straps cut with raw edges and an X-shaped design on the back for added comfort and freedom of movement.
The bib shorts also have raw-cut hems with internally integrated coloured grip elements to keep the shorts securely in place and snug against the legs.
The men’s model comes with the top-of-the-line C3 padding, adding a protective shell with a 3D ergonomic surface and gel inserts in the ischial area, while the women’s Redux Speed is fitted with C3W padding tailored to the female anatomy.
Colours available for men are black, navy blue, grey, and military green, with black, navy blue, burgundy, and grey for women.
The straps feature a contrasting colour inside.
