Mahle unveils the X30 System: 1.9kg motor, 45Nm of torque

Mahle has launched what it calls “a new standard in lightweight e-bike systems” with the arrival of the X30 system, built around a 1.9kg motor producing 45Nm of torque.

Featuring a robust motor that has been designed for both ease of use and ease of maintenance, the X30 System has been developed with the insights the Stuttgart, Germany-based manufacturer has gained from nine years as a specialist in lightweight e-bike solutions.

Whilst the motor is new, the X30 System integrates seamlessly with existing X20 components and digital ecosystem, ensuring compatibility without compromise.

This compatibility allows for smooth upgrades and access to advanced features, maintaining consistent reliability across the X Series.

As a result, the X30 is applicable for road, gravel, urban and kids bikes, where the e-bike boost can be just what a rider needs to make the most of their riding time.

Compatible accessories

• External Battery eX1 (e185): Best-in-class in size, weight, and capacity, adding 171Wh and up to 60 km.
• PulsarONE display: Provides detailed ride information, from battery status to available range and custom assistance levels.
• The eShifters: Enabling riders to control their e-bike without removing hands from the handlebar.
• Duo Remote: Enabling riders to adjust assistance levels, control lighting, and activate Walk Assistance Mode.

2023 saw Mahle announce a partnership with ZyroFisher, enabling the business to expand reach and speed up customer support, including the warranty process – improving customer service for its e-bike components, which can be found in more than 60 brands.
