Mechanic/Wheelbuilder – Spa Cycles Ltd

Harrogate, not only where the forerunner of Cycling UK began and host to the Tour de France and World Road Championships; it’s also the home of Spa Cycles Ltd, one of the UK’s leading Touring Cycling Specialists. We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Cycle Mechanic/Wheelbuilder. Whilst wheelbuilding ability would be desirable, we would also be pleased to consider a Mechanic who would like to gain these skills.

Responsibilities of the position include: assembly of custom-built bicycles and wheels, identifying faults, damage and wear, liaison with customers on bicycle and wheelset specifications, advising customers on repairs, and carrying out repairs, maintenance and general servicing, preparation of cost estimates for the above, and retail shop service.

The position is full time (40hr/wk) to include some Saturdays, although a job-share arrangement may be considered. We offer an attractive salary package commensurate with experience, the potential for overtime, 28 days pa paid holiday, a Company Pension Scheme and a generous staff discount programme.

Workshop Leader – Rutland Cycling | Specialized Whitwell

A crucial role within the Specialized UK Retail Team; the Workshop Leader is responsible delivering above the rider expectation for service, whilst being commercially aware to the revenue opportunities it represents. Leading the workshop team in striving to enhance and evolve the service offering with wider team involvement.

What you’ll be doing day-to-day: ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth running of the workshop, issuing daily duties and following-up to ratify completion and compliance, stock accuracy and amendments
Workshop organisation and cleanliness, awareness and responsibility for security of the workshop team and stock, ensuring workshop teammates are encouraged to further their training for development as well as compliance, liaising across the store network to align on service processes and how they should be documented and followed, and managing the maintenance of Hire and Demo bike fleets where applicable.

Bicycle Technician/Team Member – Cycle Sphere

Cycle Sphere started rolling on two wheels in 2016 with one clear goal – to feed Hampshire’s appetite for everything cycling. Cycle sphere situated at the heart of a major green-town regeneration project, Cycle Sphere offers bicycle / e-bike sales , bicycle hire , repairs, servicing, custom builds, wheel building, workshop classes / tuition, Ride leading / coaching and more.

We are looking for someone with excellent customer facing / interpersonal skills, great communication verbal & written. A keen passion for bicycles and cycling to share with our customers. Familiar with using IT systems – Epos, MS Office etc. Keeping up with the latest trends, technical information and the ability to “self learn” Further training can be facilitated where possible. Possessing bike accreditation’s are preferred – Cytech level 2 min.

Located in Bordon Hampshire on the edge of south downs national park. The normal work week is Tuesday – Saturday. Approx 40 hr week. Conventional shop hours. Time to time there will be a requirement to work outside these hours for our events / functions and possible bank holidays. Generally speaking we can be flexible and work together as a team to appease the needs of the business. Inside Sales Representative – Pon Bike Performance UK

The Inside Sales Team is the most frequent point of contact for our dealer base. The Inside Sales rep is responsible for managing the sales and service with their assigned Outside Account Manager. The right person for this job has a mix of high energy, attention to detail and a dedication to providing best in class service. Each representative answers inbound telephone calls, makes outbound sales calls, and responds to communications from our retailers regarding sales, product, delivery, and inventory.

Duties and responsibilities: operates in a Team Selling environment supporting all PBP brands, will have responsibility for accounts within the assigned market area, answers inbound telephone calls and emails, from bicycle retailers relating to sales, product, delivery, inventory, and general inquiries; in a professional and timely manner, places outbound sales and service calls to existing territory dealer bases, on a daily basis, and identify new business opportunities and make contacts with prospective customers.

You will also: enter sales orders and ensure timely shipment by actively managing the order book, track sales/service interactions through CRM and update/maintain retail accounts information, including dealer contacts, account notes, floor share, and account notes, contribute to the success of the company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned, involvement and staffing of dealer demo days, PBP supported events as well as trade shows and marketing activations, and assist with occasional picking and packing during busy periods as required.

Purchasing Processor/Stock Controller – Orange Bikes LTD

We are looking for a stock controller / purchasing processor. Candidates for this position should have a good understanding of bicycle components and terminology. The position will predominantly focus on, Stock Management, maintaining suitable levels of stock in line with production requirements. Processing orders as requested and monitoring their progress ensuring a timely delivery. Organising shipments from overseas suppliers. Organising shipments from the UK to overseas customers. Ensuring the warehouse and stock storage spaces are kept in a clean and organised manner.

A qualification in a related inventory/stock/logistics field would be desirable, however the ability to demonstrate a solid working knowledge in a Warehouse/Inventory environment is essential. You might not tick all the boxes, and that’s okay, we still encourage you to apply.
