UK/European Sales Lead

Position Overview: Join our mission to inspire the next generation of mountain bikers. As the UK/European Sales Lead, you will spearhead growth and success across our established markets in the UK and Europe. This senior role focuses on retail sales, team leadership, and market expansion, requiring strategic acumen, robust leadership skills, and a passion for nurturing relationships. Reporting to the Global Sales Lead or General Manager, you will play a critical role in aligning with our global objectives and mission.
This remote position, based within the UK or Europe, offers the flexibility to work independently while maintaining a vital connection with our global team. As the role develops, opportunities will include scaling operations, establishing a regional team, and potentially setting up a regional hub to support long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Performance Management:
- Develop and implement robust sales strategies to consistently exceed sales targets.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage and analyze performance data, enhancing sales processes and customer engagement.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering an environment of success and tactical execution of sales plans.
- Relationship Management:
- Deepen relationships with key distributors, retailers, and stakeholders across the UK and Europe, driving market expansion and brand loyalty.
- Brand Representation:
- Act as a dynamic representative of our brand across the region, embodying our mission and values in all dealings and presentations.
- Market Intelligence:
- Systematically gather and analyze market insights to steer company strategies, ensuring alignment with regional needs and customer expectations.
- Operational Excellence:
- Oversee operational budgets and financial reporting, ensuring optimal resource allocation and fiscal accountability.
- Forecast SKU demand and manage inventory strategies to ensure efficient distribution and minimize logistical challenges.
- Marketing and Events:
- Elevate brand visibility and engagement through strategically crafted events and marketing partnerships tailored for the European market.

Experience and Skills Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales, with a strong record of meeting and exceeding targets, preferably in a related industry.
- Extensive experience with CRM systems, demonstrating a capacity to drive sales efficiency and customer insights.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
