Retail Workshop Manager

Elswood Cycleworks is a small service driven independent workshop and P&A store with a well-established customer base on the busy lower Richmond Road in Putney. Established 10 years ago after the closure of the long-standing W.F Holdsworth. The owner is looking for a proactive workshop manager to take over some of the duties of running the customer facing workshop.

You will need either the relevant Cytech or equivalent qualifications or demonstrable mechanical experience.

Duties will include overseeing the smooth running of the retail facing workshop. To ensure customer communication is maintained to the highest possible level. To identify and improve ways of working with the aim of making the repair and service process as efficient and profitable as possible. To maintain the retail workshop space to current high standards.

The owner is looking to build a team capable of running the business independently over the coming years, with salaries and bonus to suit.

Bicycle Technician/Retail Assistant

You will be required to work on the busy shop floor answering customers’ questions and undertake general shop duties as well as managerial responsibilities. These include operating our workshop diary, EPOS till system, stock taking and speaking with manufacturers/suppliers.
