Italian e-MTB brand Thok has hosted the sixth edition of its Tribe event.
The annual gathering of Thok e-MTB owners, or of Ducati models made by Thok, was held at Norcenni Girasole Village in Figline Valdarno, across the weekend of June 8 and 9.
This year saw 300 e-MTB enthusiasts, due to this year’s registration limit (there were 440 of them the previous year), from all over Italy and some from abroad, with groups of riders from Piedmont to Apulia, Trentino to Sardinia, as well as Austria, Germany and Poland.
Seven years after the first edition in Fanano, which brought together 70 of the very first Thok bike owners near Modena, the event has gone on to become a regular event on the calendar of many e-MTBers.
The entire Thok team of 23 people, including the CEO Stefano Migliorini and Sebastiano Astegiano, another of the partners, as well as a group of longtime friends and cycling guides, first and foremost Pippo Marani, accompanied the guests in two days of riding.
Migliorini said: “Owning a Thok means being part of a world made of passion and sharing, that also includes these occasions for Thok employees and their passionate customers to meet up.
“The Tribe is our celebration: it’s a way to celebrate the bond between Thok and its community, two days of authentic bonds and being together, during which people get to know one another and call each other by name.
“It has little to do with competition and a lot with the idea of being part of a family, a group of friends that share a passion for mountain bikes and want to have fun”.
The Thok Tribe is already preparing its next edition.
It’s a travelling event and the 2025 venue still has to be chosen with the Alba-based brand looking for suitable places that can host its fans and is open to proposals.
