Job Description: The primary role of the Marketing Manager is to develop and manage marketing campaigns in support of Goodyear Bicycle Tires’ commercial goals. This role will assist the Commercial Director in leveraging existing assets while identifying additional opportunities to further commercial success across communication platforms and commercial channels. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other additional duties may be assigned. Reporting to Commercial Director and working under their guidance to set the strategic marketing priorities in alignment of key business objectives. Evaluate, prioritize, and lead marketing campaigns and events. Work with Replacement and OEM channel leadership to ensure marketing efforts align with each channels needs and opportunities. Develop and manage relationships with ambassadors, athletes, and teams. Manage the day-to-day activities of the Goodyear Bicycle Tires Marketing Coordinator. Develop materials to support onboarding of new distributors, manufacturers, and retailers while working with their respective marketing counterparts to grow sales and brand segment awareness. Create and maintain relationships with strategic global media outlets across all categories Attend meetings with Replacement account managers as needed to support effective delivery of proposals, product training, and key messages. Work with the Commercial Team to create innovative sales programs that will capture incremental revenue. Other responsibilities include: Engage with the market, predict the upcoming trends, and know your competitors’ activities. Timely and accurate marketing expense budget forecasting and management. Managing, tracking, and reporting monthly results to the Commercial Director and Business Leadership. Key Requirements and Experience To succeed, the ideal individual will have the following: A passion for all aspect of cycling and the ability to ride a bike. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Management, Marketing, or related field is preferred. +5 years’ experience in marketing and or sales management within the bicycle or related industry. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 Suite of products. Proficiency in Adobe Suite preferred. A firm understanding of the cycling components market. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. This position is remote, a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit is a must! Ability to travel both domestically and internationally. As such, the individual must maintain a valid driver’s license and passport.
