Fibrax has developed a lightweight, protective cable wrap that secures untidy cables to ‘reduce chatter without compromising performance’.
Manufactured in the UK, the easy-to-fit, flexible wrap retains crisp shifting and general movement, the brand has said.
The wrap has been designed to secure two cables (ten millimetres) or three to four cables (12 millimetres).
Retailing at £9.99, the one-metre pack of spiral cable wrap is available in black only.
“I came up with the idea of manufacturing these due to the need for a tidy handlebar, with so many additions such dropper posts and remote lockout’s there’s too much going on up front,” said Ellis Blackman, Fibrax sales manager.
“By combining the cables you both neaten the bike and reduce the likelihood of snagging on trees etc. We’ve already presold 100,000m of these to an Italian OEM so I think they’re going to be a really good product, especially for the e-bike/Enduro scene.”
