Babboe launches Slim Mountain e-cargo bike

Dutch cargo bike manufacturer Babboe has launched its latest model, the Slim Mountain, aimed at adventurous families.

The e-cargo bike is the latest addition to Babboe’s mountain range of cargo bikes, which are designed to tackle crosswinds and long distances. The extra-slim model means that the bike is easily manoeuvrable, and it is fitted with a mid-drive Yamaha motor, meaning it has the Enviolo stepless shifting system and force sensor which allows the motor to adapt the amount of assistance to the rider’s own pedal power.

Battery charging takes four to six hours, and the bike also has battery-powered AXA LED front and rear lights fitted as standard. The kids’ seating area is complete with a safety bar and there’s an option for the children to face forwards or face each other.

The seats can be adapted for a Maxi-Cosi carrier and up to two bike seats can be mounted on the Slim Mountain. Equipped with a double kickstand, the bike can be parked quickly and there are options to add a foot rail, backrest and rear carrier.

The Babboe Slim Mountain has an RRP of £3,549 and comes with a five-year warranty. UK dealers interested in stocking The Babboe Slim Mountain should contact Babboe at sales@babboe.nl.
