Whyte Bikes has shared its second international distributor announcement with the news that DSB will distribute the brand in Italy.
The partnership with DSB, the premium distributor of bike and component brands, will see the brand supported in the Italian market with the launch of its 2025 collection.
Davide Bonandrini, DSB’s owner and founder comments: “We want to work with brands that have good products, a clear vision and that are – essential for me – good people. This is Whyte,”
“It’s a new chapter for DSB and I’m sure that Whyte will be the ‘surprise’ bike brand for the next few years.”
Whyte’s international sales director, Ross Patterson, commented on the announcement. “DSB have local knowledge, extensive experience and a rich history of developing premium mountain bike brands in Italy, working with the very best retailers.”
Elyte range is available internationally
The partnership, cemented at this year’s Eurobike show, sees DSB presenting Whyte’s latest, highly-acclaimed eMTB range, including the multiple award-winning ‘Lightweight eBike Of The Year’ Elyte collection* into Italy for Autumn 2024 availability, together with Whyte’s electric RHeO range for city, leisure and commuting for 2025.
International distributor expansion
The DSB announcement is the second within just a few weeks for the British brand, following swiftly on from New Zealand’s Solis international announcement from Thursday, 13 June, with Whyte continuing to seek premium international distribution partners from around the world actively.
“It’s an exciting time for Whyte and our international partners,” explained Patterson.
“We have invested heavily in product development and have a world-class programme for 2025, including the latest must-have tech packaged in Whyte’s award-winning way. Our brand has turned a big corner and we are continuing to invest as we accelerate momentum.”
Staff developments to support growth goals
In May the business announced a raft of staff news, with promotion and recruitment further enhancing the business.
Amongst the announcements was the promotion of Michelle Lee, who joined Whyte Bikes in July of 2023, following more than 16 years at Adidas. Moving into the role of business development director, Lee’s target is driving business growth, with a focus on revenue channels outside the IBD network.
