Zwift Ride Smart Frame goes on sale and Zwift Ready programme launched

This week is a busy one for Zwift, with the Zwift Ride Smart Frame now available to buy, and the Zwift Ready programme launching.

Zwift Ride Smart Frame now available

After extensive ‘first look’ coverage by the likes of DC Rainmaker and Shane Millar GP Lama, the product is now available to buy.

Styled to fit in the home, and suitable for the household, the Zwift Ride Smart Frame fits riders between 5ft (152cm) to 6ft 6 inches (198 cm), aiming to make it the perfect Zwift upgrade.

Importantly, the Zwift Ride Smart Frame offers all the benefits first introduced with Zwift Ride with Kickr Core launched earlier this year.

• The same Zwift Frame Key is all that’s needed to assemble and adjust your Zwift Ride Smart frame.
• Virtual shifting is taken care of via integrated shift buttons which can be customised to a rider’s preferred shifting style – Shimano, SRAM, or sequential.
• Zwift Ride Smart Frame Controllers give riders full control of the Zwift game experience direct from the handlebars.

The Zwift Ride Smart Frame includes a few additional accessories to ensure the same ride experience no matter which Zwift Ready Smart Trainer it’s paired to.

• Included in the box is Zwift’s latest Zwift Cog and an adjustable front foot design.
• The included Zwift Cog is the second version and features in-built indexing which allows Zwifters to perfect their chain alignment for the quietest ride experience.
• The included front feet help to ensure the frame is at the correct height for the trainer it’s paired with – simply select the foot for a specific trainer and the set-up is ready to ride.

The Zwift Ride Smart Frame retails for £749.99 and is available in the US, EU, and UK exclusively from Zwift.com.

NB: The Zwift Ride Smart Frame is compatible with all Zwift Ready trainers except the Wahoo Kickr Move.

Zwift Ready Program

The Zwift Ready Program brings compatibility to additional smart trainer brands for almost any 8-speed through 12-speed bike, thanks to virtual shifting and Zwift’s Cog and Click.

Zwift Ready is an officially licensed program that makes it easier for customers to identify smart trainers that support Zwift’s virtual shifting, the ultimate Zwifting experience.

Several Zwift Ready trainers will be available to purchase online and in stores with the Zwift Cog pre-installed and the Zwift Click controller in the box.

Zwift Ready trainers with Zwift Cog and Click available from September include:

• Wahoo Kickr Core Zwift One
• JetBlack Victory with Zwift Cog and Click
• Wahoo Kickr V6 with Zwift Cog and Click
• Wahoo Kickr Move with Zwift Cog and Click

Coming Winter 2024:

• Elite Direto with Zwift Cog and Click
• Decathlon D100 with Zwift Cog and Click

Additionally, a number of trainers can be upgraded to become Zwift Ready.

Upgraded trainers will be able to support Zwift virtual shifting using any Zwift controller (Zwift Click, Zwift Play, Zwift Ride).

• Wahoo Kickr Core – all versions
• Wahoo Kickr V6 – all versions of v6
• Wahoo Kickr Move – all versions*

Zwift and Wahoo (un)bundle deals

In addition to the launch of the Zwift Ride Smart Frame and Zwift Ready, Zwift and Wahoo are also announcing a deal aimed at growing the collective audience of both brands.

The Wahoo Kickr Core Zwift One and Wahoo Kickr Core will now be available for purchase – without a 1-year Zwift membership – for £449.99.

Taking this step reduces cost, and gives Zwifters greater flexibility to choose the Zwift subscription that best suits their needs.

Beginning this autumn, the simplicity offered by Zwift Cog and Click, and Zwift virtual shifting will be available to purchase via Wahoo retailers globally.

The Zwift Cog and Click upgrade pack contains the Cog and Click only and will retail for £79.99.

*Compatibility with the Zwift Ride Smart Frame is dependent on virtual shifting. Wahoo Kickr Move is only compatible with Zwift Ride Smart Frame when in a fixed position.
