Italian Bike Festival confirms 2024 dates

The Italian Bike Festival is preparing for the seventh edition of the international exhibition dedicated to the bicycle world and slow mobility, organised by Taking Off with the support of APT Servizi Emilia-Romagna.

For the third consecutive year, the event will be held at the Misano World Circuit, taking place from Friday, September 13 to Sunday, September 15, 2024.

The Italian Bike Festival attracted more than 53,000 visitors last September, and has now consolidated its position as a reference point for enthusiasts, buyers, and industry operators.

This is thanks to its innovative exhibition format, the opportunity to participate in test rides with exhibiting companies, and a well-structured programme of in-depth meetings and dynamic, educational activities for cyclists and the family.

Last year’s festival saw more than 600 brands present, exhibitors from 17 countries of origin, more than 25,000 test rides carried out during the event, 300 accredited journalists, and 20 in-depth meetings with the involvement of 50 leading speakers from the bike world in the Talk Turismo Arena.

More than 50% of the public came from Emilia-Romagna, Friuli Venezia-Giulia, Veneto, and Trentino Alto-Adige, 10.5% from Lombardy, Piedmont, Val D’Aosta, and Liguria, 29.3% from Tuscany, Umbria, Lazio, and Marche; and the remaining 6.1% from Central-Southern Italy and the islands.

Foreign visitors accounted for 4% of visitors, who came predominantly from Spain, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, and Denmark.

The peak attendance was on Saturday, September 16, with 22,000 visitors.

In confirming itself as a must-attend event for dealers and professional operators, the sixth edition of the Italian Bike Festival also gave voice to the industry with scientific moments through the Stati Generali della Bicicletta 2023, the final stage of the Be Off – Cycling Meeting Hub circuit.

Four round tables with the participation of 26 speakers who shared their views on Bike Economy, Sport, Smart City, and Lifestyle topics.

Between live streaming and subsequent viewings, these meetings have gathered in excess of 1,200 views to date.
