Bikmo becomes Cycling UK’s official insurance partner

Bikmo has announced a new partnership with Cycling UK, a collaboration that brings together Bikmo’s expertise in protecting cyclists and their gear with Cycling UK’s vision of happier, healthier and greener lives through cycling.

The partnership establishes Bikmo as the new provider of the public liability cover, included as part of a Cycling UK membership.

Cycling UK members will also benefit from Bikmo’s comprehensive product range, including cycle insurance to protect bikes, gear and accessories, as well as travel insurance, with members receiving an exclusive 10% discount on these offerings.

Katie Legg, commercial director at Cycling UK, said: “We are thrilled to announce Bikmo as Cycling UK’s new insurance provider. We know how important the safety net of insurance is to our members, providing them with peace of mind when they get on their bikes.

“We also know how important it was to pick a provider that shares our vision of a safer, more sustainable cycling community.”

Cycling UK prides itself on being a charity that champions cycling as a safe and green way to get around for people of all backgrounds and abilities. Together with Bikmo’s B Corp status and 1% for the Planet commitment, the two organisations will aim to maximise the positive impact cycling can have through collaboration.

Rob Grisdale, Global Head of Partnerships at Bikmo said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Cycling UK as their official insurance provider.

“We have huge respect for the work that Cycling UK does, from powerful advocacy work, to inspiring more people to ride more. We are honoured to be trusted with protecting members with our specialist insurance policies.”

Expanding on the partnership, Legg further added: “We chose Bikmo because of the great value it can provide to members. It knows cycling inside and out, prides itself on delivering fantastic customer service, and remains committed to sustainability – Bikmo’s contributions to people and the planet through its B Corp and 1% for the Planet status are proof of this.

“Together, we look forward to empowering our members with the coverage they need to ride confidently, knowing they are supported by a provider doing its part to support the environment.”
