Dahon has launched an initiative that will see the global brand share its IPR (Intellectual Property Rights), along with an extensive range of parts and accessories, to valued partners.
The new programme was revealed during an exclusive launch event at China Cycle, which took place at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai last week.
Dahon has said it is searching for partners to join the brand-new IPR Sharing Programme, with which they are looking to offer solutions to the challenges faced by the bicycle market through tried and tested IPR and parts and accessories.
Dahon is offering a selection of both old and new components which includes the Deltec safety cable accessory, an add on compatible with multiple folding bikes that increases frame rigidity, alongside other parts and accessories such as pedals, handle posts, cranksets and more. The available IPR “optimises the performance of both regular and folding bikes in unique ways and exceeds all quality and safety expectations”.
Further to accessing notable Dahon IPR and parts and accessories, licensees will be able to use the Dahon brand as part of the Double Branding Programme, which was launched at the show. The Dahon trademark could be used on bike or e-bike categories and can help raise the brand value, Dahon has said.
In addition to the launch of the new IPR Sharing Programme at China Cycle, Dahon presented its 2020 range of folding bikes and accessories, which features some brand-new models as well as updated best sellers.
