Citrus-Lime and Bike.Rent Manager announce strategic partnership

Citrus-Lime, provider of Cloud POS the end-to-end retail solution for bike shops, and Bike.Rent Manager (BRM), specialists in bike rental management software, have announced a strategic partnership.

The collaboration aims to integrate key aspects of retail, repair and rental for the bike rental industry, with the partnership bringing together Citrus-Lime’s Cloud POS system and BRM’s Rental Management Software, to offer a unified solution for bike shops.

System integration will enable businesses to manage retail, repair and rental services more efficiently, both in physical stores and online.

The goal is to support business growth, increase revenue, and improve customer interaction.

Tailored to the cycling market, the integration is said to underscore the commitment of both Citrus-Lime and BRM to driving innovation and excellence in the industry.

Grant Hadwin, head of sales and supplier partnerships at Citrus-Lime, said: “We have a strong relationship with BRM, which goes back a number of years, and this collaboration was a logical step. Both Citrus-Lime and BRM are focussed on helping IBDs solve the business problems that face modern bike shops.

“Consumers expectations on retail service are increasing all the time, this integration aims to meet that expectation by helping retailers increase new and repeat business through one integrated solution. This is a truly unique partnership that sets new standards in the cycling industry, helping IBDs stay in control in a rapidly changing market.”

The solution, available to bike shops globally, has a focus on regions such as the UK, Europe, America, Australia, New Zealand and Canada, where both companies have a substantial presence.

Both businesses see the partnership as a natural progression in their relationship, aiming to improve operational efficiency and profitability for bike rental businesses worldwide.

Jordan Edwards, key accounts and strategic partnerships manager, added: “At BRM we are always looking for ways to assist our customers and make bike rentals easier. The BRM x CL integration will help to streamline bike shops’ workflows and condense their tech stack. We are excited to see where this continued collaboration will take bike shops.”
