A couple of new independent bike dealers have entered the market: C6 Bikes in Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire and Westerham Cyclery in Sevenoaks, Kent.
C6 opened its doors at the start of the month and is headed up by co-directors Stephen Heathcock and James Brokenshire-Dyke (Cambridge News). Boasting free parking outside the shop and extended week night opening hours, C6 is located at Unit 30 of Glenmore Business Park. Cunningly it has teamed up with a nearby popular cafe for cyclists – lycra clan riders at La Hogue will get a discount at the new shop for a limited time.
Based on The Green, Westerham Cyclery is a shop and cafe combined (Sevenoaks Chronicle). Mark Brewer is one of three owners with Nigel Moore, both also founder members of the Westerham Cycling Club. Westerham Cyclery opened at the end of last month.
