Pearson Cycles invests in new 2025 brand direction with reshaped leadership team

British bike brand Pearson Cycles has changed and strengthened its executive leadership team with the appointment of Scott Davies (CEO) and Neil Robinson (COO) to the board of directors. Scott and Neil join the team as Pearson Cycles reaffirms its commitment to engineering-driven products, first-class customer service and ride quality.

Further appointments in senior roles sees Pearson Cycles expand its team of experts to focus on the development of the brand and products as well as the growth of its direct-to-consumer offering. To accompany this, Pearson Cycles will be expanding distribution of its performance carbon road and gravel bikes offering through a curated dealer network.

The brand is committed to delivering expertly crafted bike frames paired with top-tier components from industry-leading partners, each rigorously tested and approved by Pearson Cycles. This renewed focus extends to enhancing the online experience, offering premium delivery options, and providing a transferable warranty—all while staying true to its heritage of exceptional service, customisable fit options, and innovation.

Scott Davies, previously of Factor Bikes, will lead the brand through its next chapter, taking on the role of CEO. He said: “For me, this isn’t only about leading a company with a remarkable heritage, it’s about driving us into a new chapter where innovation and the rider experience are at the core of everything we do,” said Scott Davies, CEO, Pearson Cycles.

“Pearson Cycles has always stood out for its focus on the importance of fit, exceptional customer service and individuality – Neil and I are here to build on that solid foundation. We have big plans for 2025 and beyond, including expanding our direct-to-consumer reach, enhancing our dealer network, and continuing to engineer bikes that truly resonate with our riders.”

He continued: “My goal is simple: to create a premium British bicycle brand, the best-engineered bicycles in the world, delivered with the best service available, making Pearson Cycles the go-to choice for cyclists who value individuality, quality, and a personal touch. It will be an exciting journey, and I’m thrilled to be stepping into this role, preserving the family culture while leading us into the next era.”

Neil Robinson, previously a Board Director of Time Inc., takes on the role of COO. His previous roles have seen him lead award-winning digital teams and overall growth at Time Inc.

Neil Robinson, COO, Pearson Cycles, said: “2025 will be an exciting year for the Pearson Cycles company. We have built a team dedicated to growing awareness of the Pearson Cycles brand and further curating a market-leading online experience backed up by a truly customer-led service. I’m delighted to have the opportunity to elevate this fantastic, authentic brand, with its great product and inspirational team beyond South London.”

Guy Pearson, representing the fifth generation at Pearson Cycles, said: “This is an exciting step for our beloved company, taking years of heritage and expertise into 2025. Scott brings an authentic passion and knowledge for performance cycling while having a proven track record of growing businesses. He shares William’s and my vision for Pearson Cycles, and we are delighted he is leading this next chapter.”
