Restrap launches shorter model of Race Top Tube Bag

Restrap has released a new addition to its popular Race Range: The Race Top Tube Bag Short.

This third, smaller size keeps many of the same design elements as the current Race Top Tube Bags (both regular and large sizes), but now adds the functionality of being able to be bolted to the bosses now commonly found on gravel bikes.

This iteration of the brand’s best-selling product has been developed from feedback with Restrap’s team of ambassadors and customer base.

The compact size is now ideal for riders who tackle long distance rides, or single day off-road adventures.

Manufactured to be both durable and lightweight, the Adventure Race Top Tube Bag is designed with ultra-distance racing and audaxing in mind.

This is the shortest model in the range with compatibility for most gravel and adventure bikes

An X21 technical waterproof outer, waterproof nylon inner lining and YKK aqua guard zip keeps inclement weather at bay, while reflective detailing boosts visibility and safety when riding through the night.

Built to be practical and functional, the bag is held in place with an adjustable Molle hypalon fitting combined with one of Restrap’s Fast Straps, which allows the bag to function with all Restrap Frame Bags.

The rear strap can be removed to allow the bag to function as a Bolt-On Top Tube Bag if preferred.

An internal plastic structure keeps the bag upright and stable and the universal headset fitting accommodates all headsets, including bikes with a low stack height.

A stretch mesh side pocket provides storage for nutrition, wrappers and other on-the-fly essentials.

The internal compartment has a foam base to add structure and prevent rattle while on the move.

The Race Top Tube Bag Short has an RRP of £59.99 / €71.99 / $83.99, and is available to order directly from the Leeds-based bikepacking brand.
