Argon 18 is stepping up with a refreshed road/all-road line-up for 2025, with new premium builds for both the flagship road racer, the Sum Pro, and the Krypton Pro, leading the brand’s all-road segment.
Argon 18’s premium road race bike, the Sum Pro, will see two new colourways and build upgrades with SRAM Red AXS with powermeter and Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 options, with the Di2 build also featuring the Scope Artech A4 wheelset and Vision Metron 5D integrated cockpit.
With these components, the Di2 Sum Pro comes in at 6.6kg (medium).
With its aero tube shapes – including the distinctive hourglass headtube and draft-deflecting fork – and lightweight engineering, the Sum Pro brings together the best of Argon 18’s road-race expertise.
“The Sum Pro is the most responsive bike I’ve ever ridden,” says pro cyclist Andrea Perron from Team Novo Nordisk.
“I really feel it when I’m descending, and when sprinting, the power transfer is unmatched. The technology in the sport is constantly evolving, so it’s essential that we keep up. With the Sum Pro, we’re at the forefront.”
Meanwhile, the Sum features the same features with a slightly modified layup, now available with SRAM Force AXS and Shimano Ultegra Di2 options.
“The Sum line gives road riders the best of both worlds: engineered for the climbs, with the power transfer and aero performance for sprints,” says Vincent Lemay, vice president R&D at Argon 18.
“With classic road-race looks and handling, the new 2025 versions reaffirm our commitment to giving our riders the best in high-performance engineering.”
The all-road side of the line-up also features new colours and builds for 2025, with the Krypton Pro sporting new SRAM Red AXS and Force AXS – both with powermeters, and the Krypton adding Ultegra Di2 as well as Force AXS builds.
“The Krypton Pro has proven itself to be far more than simply capable of tackling every surface: it’s proven itself to deliver best performance in all conditions,” adds Alexandre Coté, director of product management at Argon 18.
“Meanwhile the Krypton has become the bike of choice for those who want to be ready for any adventure, any day, on any road. It’s the perfect choice for those who want one bike to take on all challenges.
“Overall, this is a performance-minded line-up update that’s a taste of what Argon 18 will present in 2025.”
