Extra UK and Cyclex announce Scope Cycling distribution for the UK & Ireland

Extra UK has announced the signing of an exclusive distribution agreement with Scope Cycling for the UK and Ireland (via their Irish subsidiary Cyclex).

Founded in 2014 in the Netherlands, Scope Cycling – a team of engineers, designers, and cyclists – has more than a decade of industry experience, specialising in high-performance carbon wheels, fuelled by a commitment to push the limits of innovation.

The brand is “driven by a performance-focused ambition, using pioneering cutting-edge technologies, with a real focus on quality – seeking to consistently challenge the industry standards, offering wheelsets that deliver performance and ride experience for every rider, every time”.

Scope range overview

Scope’s wheel range covers three price points, from £899.99 to £3,499.99 SRP, across both Road and All-road
categories, including carbon rim-brake models in the S and R Series.

In addition, Scope will launch new premium-level Artech Gravel and Time Trial / Triathlon wheelsets in March 2025, with these having already been tested with great success at key races throughout 2024.

Mark Greshon, head of brands at Extra UK, comments: “The team at Extra is thrilled to bring Scope back to the
UK and Irish markets with a bigger and more impressive product range than before.

“The S and R series wheels hit key price points while offering excellent specs and a variety of options. Additionally, Scope’s new Artech range redefines expectations with its remarkable low weight, optimised stiffness, unique Aeroscale aerodynamics, 3D printed hubs, carbon spokes, and with a lifetime warranty.

Greshon continues: “We’ve already given a sneak peek to a select group of dealers, and the feedback has exceeded even our expectations. We’ll be unveiling the Scope Artech range to both consumer and trade visitors at Rouleur LIVE this week.’

Nieck Busser, co-founder at Scope, comments: ‘We are looking forward to working with Extra UK as our new exclusive distributor for the UK and Ireland.

“They have a strong dealer base thanks to their well-curated portfolio of brands and their knowledgeable team
is supported by robust logistics and their own local service centre. This partnership will allow us to serve our
Scope dealers in the UK and Ireland in the best way possible.”

Scope stock will be available from Extra UK / Cyclex in the coming weeks, with more stock due in Q1 2025, timed for the arrival of peak season trading. Interested retailer should contact their area sales manager to discuss opportunities or email sales@extrauk.co.uk
