Alpkit opens first European store in Munich

Alpkit, the UK-based outdoor brand, and Sonder, Alpkit’s sister brand, has announced the opening of its new store in Munich, Germany.

Located at Thalkirchner. Str 210,81371, Munich, partnering with cycle store Veleroo, Alpkit Munich will be stocking a range of Sonder bikes and Alpkit cycling, bikepacking, and camping gear to suit the needs and the demands of the outdoor enthusiast.

As the brand’s first store to open in Europe, the store space will encompass 65 sq ft in partnership with Veloroo.

Building on the success of 10 UK stores, and the increasing popularity of Alpkit in Germany, the retailer promises that the space will be “a haven for outdoor enthusiasts seeking sustainable, performance quality products at affordable prices”.

”We are thrilled to be partnering with Alpkit and Sonder, true pioneers of the British outdoor and cycling industry,” comments Veloroo founders, Richard Hudson and Oskar Brailsford.

“Bringing 20 years of award winning products, we look forward to sharing them with other European outdoor enthusiasts.”
