Restrap returns with the Solstice Century Challenge in collaboration with Gorewear

At Restrap, they know that getting out and riding during the short daylight hours of winter isn’t easy, thanks to road grime, sleet and street lights. But just because it isn’t easy doesn’t mean it’s not rewarding. Riding under the stars, quiet roads, sunrise to sunset and the joy of a mug of tea warming the ends of numb fingers.

Even the hardiest of us sometimes need a little extra encouragement to brave the elements though. That’s why we are encouraging riders to make the most of the shortest days of the year during the Winter Solstice, from 13th to 22nd of December. The challenge is a simple one: ride a single 100 mile ride on any of those days.

By way of extra motivation, all riders who complete the Solstice Century will get a free patch and be entered into the ultimate winter cycling giveaway with prizes including a full Restrap load-out, GOREWEAR winter clothing bundle, a GOREWEAR X Restrap Limited Edition Tool Pouch, lights from Exposure & a fuelling bundle from Styrkr.

We will also be giving away four of the GOREWEAR X Restrap Limited Edition Tool Pouches for runners up.

About the Gorewear x Restrap limited edition tool pouch

Restrap have partnered with GOREWEAR to produce some ultra-limited edition, one-off tool pouches made from off-cuts of GORE-TEX fabric and – as with all their luggage – manufactured in Restrap’s Leeds factory.

Each pouch is made to the same pattern as Restrap’s best selling Tool Pouch, and is constructed from different panels of GORE-TEX fabric and will feature a unique colour way.
