Next February will see the 20th anniversary of COREbike and it is set to be the biggest in the show’s history.

Returning to Whittlebury Hall from Sunday, February 23, to Tuesday, February 25, the Chequers Courtyard marquee has been reinstated for 2025, along with several more of the smaller rooms added into the mix, giving the show its largest ever footprint.

The roll call of exhibitors has expanded accordingly with a number of first-timers taking part including Adaptive DCS, Brompton, MiRiDER, Restrap, Stashed, and Raleigh along with Haibike and Lapierre.

Polishing off the additions for 2025 are POC, Tern Bicycles, and VeloBrands, who return to the CORE line-up.

The show was launched in 2005 at the West Bromwich Moat House by six companies: Extra UK, Hope Technology, Ison Distribution, Silverfish, Upgrade Bikes and Windwave.

COREbike 2005

Originally intended to be their group house show, CORE quickly outgrew the venue as other distributors and brands were invited to join the ranks.

So, two years later the show upped sticks and moved to its current home at Whittlebury Hall.

With just one year off during the pandemic, CORE has since welcomed many thousands of bike shop owners and staff to Whittlebury for one of the UK’s biggest annual gatherings of brands, press and dealers.

To mark the occasion, the CORE group have a few show additions in the pipeline to make its 20th edition a must-attend event.

“Twenty years and still going strong is quite an achievement for any cycling exhibition, so speaking on behalf of the whole group, we wanted to say a special thanks to the dealers and press that make the effort to come to Whittlebury Hall each year.” Said Will Fripp, CEO of Extra UK.

“COREbike does take a lot of work and time to put on, but it’s a great opportunity for some quality facetime and the feedback each year confirms it’s well worth it. 2025 will see a real landmark COREbike and we can’t wait to see everyone at the show next year.”

For 2025, visitors will be able to catch a courtesy bus at Milton Keynes station and get dropped off at the door of Whittlebury Hall.

Running regularly throughout each day, leaving Milton Keynes from approximately 8.30am with the last bus departing the venue at 6pm.

All dealers and press attending the show will also receive a special 20th edition gift on arrival.

Subject to capacity and the usual nomination process from exhibiting companies, a limited number of overnight rooms are available for dealers and press.

To celebrate the 20th edition, the show will see the return of evening entertainment on both Sunday and Monday nights, as well as a special celebration.

Registrations are now open to all dealers and press online here.

The COREbike registration system ensures that all registrations are approved by the organising team so the process does not always generate immediate confirmations.

The full list of who’s exhibiting at the next COREbike is available to view on the show website.

Hot on the heels of last month’s show, the organisers of COREbike are already busy working on plans for 2025.

Next year, COREbike will return to Whittlebury Hall, Towcester from Sunday, February 23, to Tuesday, February 25.

It will be the 20th anniversary of COREbike making it now the industry’s longest-running event and, judging by this year’s numbers, it’s going from strength to strength.

Chris Holman, show organiser, said: “We had a record number of advance registrations this year, exceeding 1,600 for the first time in the show’s history.

“By the end of the three days, the badge scans for visitors showed that Monday was CORE’s busiest-ever day and overall we saw 10% more dealers and workshops and 20% more media than 2023, which was already a record year.

“There was a great buzz around the venue, lots of positivity and plenty of orders being taken so hopefully good signs for the rest of the year for the bike industry.”

The initial COREbike was the brainchild of six bike trade distributors with its 2004 debut taking place at the West Brom Moathouse.

From those humble beginnings COREbike has grown and grown again.

The show saw double the number of exhibitors by the time it was 2007 and then it left West Brom in favour of Northamptonshire’s more spacious Whittlebury Hall Hotel.

Will Fripp, CEO of Extra UK, said: “When the show was launched at its original venue in West Bromwich, I don’t think anyone in the CORE group could have foreseen it would still be going strong 20 years later. Apart from the Covid year off blip, the show has been increasing in the numbers of exhibitors, dealers and press that come each year and long may that continue.

“We want 2025 to be a really special edition of the show. While it’s clearly already a very successful formula, we’re in the process of getting feedback from this year’s exhibitors and visitors to see if there’s anything we’ve missed or to find new wrinkles that can be added to make it even better.

“We’d like to thank all the brands and dealers, workshops and press that came this year and we’re hugely looking forward to welcoming them back for CORE’s 20th birthday.”

Registrations for the 2025 edition of COREbike will open in October.

Any enquiries can be directed to Chris Holman via email at: on admin@corebike.com

This year’s show sees a number of debutants including Pierer New Mobility with GasGas and Husqvarna, Gazelle, Argon 18, Wahoo and Zwift.

A number of regulars are also stepping up their displays with increased presence to ensure it’s an event to remember.

“The 2024 edition is my second visit to COREBike, but my first as BikeBiz editor, and this time around I’m looking forward to seeing a number of new and familiar faces, along with any innovations in MTB and BMX. COREbike also represents a valuable opportunity to catch up with all of our readers and get feedback on the mag. We’ll be in attendance in our regular spot just outside the Silverstone Bar, so please do stop by and say hello.” – Daniel Blackham, editor

“I am looking forward to attending my 10th COREbike with a whole new editorial team for BikeBiz. It is always good to catch up with everyone there, especially after the turbulent last year for the trade. It will be interesting to see how we can all push forward to having a positive 2024 for the cycling industry. The show continues to be at the forefront of getting dealers and brands together in the UK and it is great to be a part of that.” – Richard Setters, head of sales

“2024 is my first COREbike with BikeBiz, having attended the show on two previous occasions. This year sees a number of first time exhibitors, joining an established group of brands and distributors at Whittlebury Hall. The show marks the first get together of the year for many in the industry, and a unique opportunity for UK retailers to meet with brands and distributors. Even in the current uncertain times there is much to look forward to.” – Simon Cox, staff writer

BikeBiz rounds up some of the stand out brands and products at this year’s show

Endura

Just when you’re thinking that you’re getting through winter, Endura will be heading to COREbike to show a bundle of new kit to get excited for next winter.

Long renowned for creating winter riding kits designed for the clarty conditions that Scotland can throw at their team of product testers, Endura’s gear is built for worse – removing barriers to riding by providing riders with a barrier against the outdoors.

For Autumn/Winter 2024, the MT500 Waterproof collection receives a major overhaul, including a new version of the MT500 Waterproof Jacket, new MT500 Waterproof Bib Pants, and deployment of Polartec in the new MT500 Polartec Jacket.

Celebrating Endura’s Scottish homeland, new colours throughout the 2024 ranges draw inspiration from the landscapes and weather conditions of “the best wee country in the world for cycling”. Look out for: Tweed, Ghillie, Machair, Haar, Dreich, Barra, Thistle, and Bramble.

Extra

Extra will unveil four brands at this year’s show. MET, Bluegrass, OnGuard, and Moon will make their debut to the Grand Prix Suite, joining the ranks of Chamois Butt’r and Jagwire, who have become an integral part of the Extra portfolio since the 2023 show.

Alongside these new arrivals, Extra are set to showcase an extensive array of the latest products. Highlights include Feza cages from Topeak, Adaptive saddles by Fizik, Pirelli’s award-winning P Zero Race road tyres and FFWD’s recently-launched RAW wheelset.

Beyond the products, COREbike provides a unique opportunity for dealers to engage with brand representatives, connect with area sales managers, and explore the exclusive range of show-only offers.

ZyroFisher

ZyroFisher will once again be situated in the Astons Room. The always popular SRAM coffee machine will be in full flow throughout providing caffeinated refreshments, with any donations for World Bicycle Relief encouraged.

Highlights from ZyroFisher this year will include new helmets from Giro, CamelBak’s MY24 bottle range, Altura’s Spring Summer offering alongside a first COREbike appearance for Joe’s No Flats .

Other brands also exhibiting from ZyroFisher’s extensive portfolio include: Bryton, CatEye, Deity, EVOC, Fenwicks, Hiplok, Panaracer, RockShox, Selle Italia, Selle San Marco, SRAM, Supacaz, Tifosi, TIME Sport, Unior and Zipp.

Brand and sales representatives will be present throughout with some special COREbike promotional offers.

Chicken CycleKit

2024 looks to be the busiest COREbike to date for Chicken CycleKit. There will be a focus on workshop solutions including: KMC Chain Reels, Clarks Cable Boxes, Zefal Frame Protection and Deda Elementi’s Headset Spares Box.

CCK are also showcasing new products from: Campagnolo, Basso, Miche, Deda Elementi and many more.

Prologo, the most ridden saddle brand in the World Tour, and for MTB fans, the saddle that is currently Downhill World Champion, will be on display.

Customers can also see Burley Bike Trailers who are now available exclusively through Chicken.

For shops looking for a personal custom cycle clothing service for their store, look no further than Alé Clothing. Charlie Solomon will be available to speak to anyone looking to supply local clubs or teams, or maybe an exclusive design for in-store.

Take advantage of the free design service where you’ll get personal and professional advice throughout the process.

As always customers can shop to kit workshops out with Wera and Knipex tools, with a tool counter available to try the latest products.

Ison Distribution

Returning with three rooms for 2024 to showcase the distributor’s portfolio.

There will be something for everyone as Ison exhibits some of the best-known brands from all avenues of cycling including: Road, MTB, Gravel and utility.

New brands this year with Ison at Core include Revoloop German made TPU inner tubes, 5DEV US made components, M-Wave luggage & bike trailers, Box MTB components and Swedish made Ass Savers mudguards.

Hungaroring houses: Renthal, KS, Fidlock, Halo, Gusset, Box MTB, Princeton CarbonWorks, Revoloop, Tubolight and Rohloff.

In the Indianapolis room, Ison will present: 5DEV, Ass Savers, Benno Bikes, Surly, Weldtite, M-wave, Redshift, HT Pedals, TSG, Dia Compe, Sunrace, Fibrax, Passport and Genetic.

The folks at Squire will have a complete room dedicated to “Toughness Guaranteed” in S6, with discussions on the latest lock innovations including wearable security and more.

A host of new products and innovations will have their first UK showing at COREbike 2024, and additionally, we are expecting to see some highly-anticipated product launches from Renthal, Halo, Gusset, Squire and Benno.

The Indy room workshop corner will be a popular destination for technicians and mechanics alike with replacement parts, tools, service products and information to help retailers streamline their process and increase margins.

Adding an extra layer to Ison’s offering will be a number of special appearances from key brand managers, several flying in from across the world to offer extra insight to dealers attending.

As always, Ison’s team of account managers will be on-hand to catch up with current and new partners to discuss how they can best serve IBDs in 2024 and beyond.

Reilly Cycleworks

The Titanium Bike Co. is returning to COREbike with its innovative line-up of titanium gravel and road bikes, refined and redesigned for 2024.

The thrill-seeking gravel bike Gradient, now in its seventh year of production, has been tweaked for tyre clearance of up to 700c x 47mm. Dropped seat stays are a key focus of the re-engineered Spectre giving this all-road ultra endurance favourite a fresh contemporary look.

And the real head-turners, the investment cast aero road bike Fusion and gravel race bike Reflex, will be available to view and order.

2024 will be a year of touring for Reilly with field saleswomen, Petra Wiltshire, taking a fleet of demo bikes to shops and workshops around the country.

COREbike is a chance for dealers to meet her and the Reilly team to discuss the range, marketing support and demo days.

Silverfish

2024 is a big year for Silverfish who will be turning 25. The team has lots of plans to mark the anniversary and COREbike will be their first chance to start celebrating with retail partners.

Established in 1999 with a select handful of progressive mountain bike brands including, Race Face, Cove, SDG, and Roach, Silverfish has created a unique space in the distribution market focussing on premium MTB and crossover brands.

Brands including: 100%, Birzman, Cush Core, Easton, FOX Factory, Marzocchi, Michelin, Occam, Peaty’s, Race Face, SDG, Skratch and Yeti will all be available to view. There will also be a brand reveal at the show.

While there are some products still embargoed at time of press, new lines premiering will include the first UK showing of Michelin’s revamped MTB, BMX and City tyre ranges, fresh 100% goggle styles and new sunglasses.

There will also be extra special Yeti builds along with the updated 160e e-MTB featuring Shimano’s EP801 drive unit.

That’s just the start and Silverfish didn’t want to spill all the beans, but they did say to bring your best party shirt, the louder the better, and join them to commemorate such a special occasion.

Darren Mabbott and the team from Silverfish would like to thank everyone who has helped them get to this quarter century and what better way than to celebrate with their industry friends.

Upgrade Bikes

The Sussex-based distributor returns to Bentleys with its packed portfolio of all things biking and two wheels.

Recent exclusive additions to Upgrade, Fazua and Stan’s No Tubes, will be available to see at COREbike. This includes the full range of tubeless systems and wheels, as well as Stan’s new dealer POS systems to roll out with key bike shops.

For DMR there are new colourways of the Vault Pedals, the new Sidekick kids’ bikes on show, plus an all-new pedal called the Flat4 – this will hit a new market for DMR Bikes.

Next up, Upgrade will be unveiling a new hardtail from DMR, this time manufactured from custom titanium – while the frame material may be a new departure for the brand, it’ll be keeping its core trail values and design ethics intact: bicycles and dirt.

The all-new full LED range from Lezyne will be on show for the first time – alongside tools, pumps, luggage and more.

It’s the 25th Anniversary for Kinesis, and the brand will be supporting more events, ambassador riders, and enjoying moments through the year ahead – and launching products such as the all-new AT Plus frameset.

Additional highlights for Upgrade include Styrkr’s all-new range of nutrition products and the debut of Motul’s Bike Care range.

Pierer will focus its efforts on GasGas and Husqvarna e-bikes

Pierer New Mobility

A COREbike debut for Pierer New Mobility with the GASGAS and Husqvarna brands to be presented to UK retailers and press for the first time – including the flagship E-Enduro ECC 6.

Although a relatively new name to the UK cycling industry, the brands will be well-known to motocross, enduro and motorcycle trials fans with hundreds of podium places won over the years.

Argon 18

Argon 18 is exhibiting at Whittlebury for the first time. This follows on from the brand introducing its direct-to-retail model, and appointment of a UK sales manager, in the second half of 2023.

The Canadian brand will show the redesigned Krypton and the latest generation E-119 Tri+ Disc.

Gazelle

Another debutant for 2024, the Dutch brand will showcase its latest range of e-bikes including the new Eclipse and Medeo, along with GPS system, Gazelle Connect.

The Gazelle team will be resident in the Melbourne room and are promising some Dutch snacks and drinks for dealers dropping by to see them.

Santini

The Italian apparel brand will unveil its all-new visual merchandising packages to help stores convey the Santini message in the best way.

Available in three levels to suit all budgets, these programmes are applicable to stores that order a mix of Santini products, both from the Santini Core Collections and Santini Special Collections such as Tour de France.

The event will also see the debut of Santini’s SS24 collections.

Santini UK is preparing to launch its all-new visual merchandising packages to help stores convey the Italian brand’s message in the best way.

Available in three levels to suit all budgets, these programmes are applicable to stores that order a mix of Santini products, both from the Core Collections and Special Collections such as Tour de France.

Jon Sangan, Santini UK sales manager, said: “Presentation is half the battle, and to support our growing IBD family our merchandise packages not only showcase Santini but create a professional and eye-catching environment for the consumer. There are programmes to suit all budgets and we welcome you to COREbike to discuss your requirements.”

The Basic programme starts from an annual turnover of £2,000

Both the Basic and Advanced programmes allow stores to dress their own space with Santini branding, to let their customers find the Santini products they stock.

Custom programmes start from an annual turnover of £7,000 per year on a three-year commitment.

These allow stores to create Santini corners within their space to showcase Santini products and convey the brand image.

Custom has been designed with two different layouts to match the store’s needs.

Both work around solid aluminium structures and their accessories to allow the retailer to display the products in different ways.

The brand wall option is designed for stores that have wall space to fill and creates an impact..

Brand isle is standalone and will not need wall space to be installed. It is ideal for stores that have floor space. This display allows for products on both sides.

COREbike will also see the debut of Santini’s SS24 collections.

With the brand now handling all distribution directly in the UK, COREbike presents the ideal opportunity for IBDs to engage with the brand’s representatives to learn more about its bespoke packages.

Attendees to the 2024 edition of COREbike will find Argon 18 exhibiting at Whittlebury for the first time, with the Argon 18 team taking a dedicated space.

This follows on from the brand introducing its direct-to-retail model, and appointment of a UK sales manager, in the second half of 2023.

For the Canadian brand, now heading into the 35th year, the focus on producing performance focused bicycles, and related components, for road, triathlon, gravel and track bikes, is underlined by a strong endurance sports focused ambassador line up including Dan Martin, Mark Beaumont, and Ironman athletes Ruth Astle and Joe Skipper. The brand also provides bikes for Team Novo Nordisk, the world’s first all diabetes professional cycling team.

The brand has built a strong following of riders on these shores, and is looking to expand its UK dealer network over the next year to continue to build on that success.

“We are excited to be attending COREbike. It is a great launch pad for our direct to retail program and will give us the opportunity to interact with both new and old retailers.  Our 2024 line up is very strong and our program offers something new and exciting for the retailers.  We are passionate about what we do and that passion comes through when you ride an Argon18,” comments Alex Croucher, UK sales manager.

Alex Croucher UK sales manager, Argon 18. Profile picture.“There have already been some important product developments this year with the super versatile Krypton fully updated and redesigned to keep at the forefront of the all-road segment. And the new
generation E-119 Tri+ Disc will ensure Argon 18 continues to lead the way in the triathlon market. We have plenty to say about our bikes and can’t wait to show them off to dealers in February.”

COREbike 2024 attendees will find Argon 18 in the Silverstone Courtyard at Whittlebury Hall.

Pierer New Mobility is preparing to take part in COREbike for the first time next year with Felt, Husqvarna and GASGAS.

Although a relatively new name to the UK cycling industry, the Austria-based company is an established manufacturer of sport motorcycles with leading brands such as KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas Motorcycles.

The brands will be very well known to motocross, enduro and motorcycle trials fans with many hundreds of podium places won in the sports over the years.

Ash Clark, UK head of sales, said: “We’re delighted to be able to showcase the latest bikes from the Husqvarna, GASGAS and Felt brands to UK retailers and press at COREbike for the first time. While Felt needs no introduction to dealers, this will be the first time that many of them have seen the other two brands up close or had a chance to chat to the teams behind them.

“It’s exciting times for the Pierer New Mobility group. Felt has been absent from UK shores for a little while, but still has a strong following here and the new bikes have been extremely well-received by British buyers.

“And we’re very proud to be instrumental in the evolution of two iconic off-road motorbike brands into the e-bike sector. Both have already made great strides in the market and we’re looking forward to showing the bikes off to prospective dealers in February.”

With bikes ranging from Felt road and gravel machines ridden by Niki Terpstra, the flagship E-Enduro ECC 6 from GasGas, through to city e-bikes in the Husqvarna line up, the Pierer team has plenty to offer dealers.

They will be resident in the Silverstone Courtyard at Whittlebury from 18-20 February.

The full exhibitor line up and floorplan for COREbike 24 is available online: www.corebike.co.uk

Registration for dealers, workshops and press for COREbike 2024 is also fully open online.

Registration for dealers, workshops and press for COREbike 2024 is now open.

COREbike offers cycling retailers the chance to see exciting new products and view ranges for the upcoming season from some of the biggest brands and distributors in the UK cycle market.

Among the returning line-up of companies to Whittlebury, there will be an expanded presence for Lyon Cycle, UltraSport, Chicken CycleKit and Pinpoint CE for the 2024 show.

Taking part at next year’s show for the first time are Royal Dutch Gazelle, Wahoo and Oakley.

Founded in 1892, Gazelle was granted its “Royal” title by Princess Margriet for the brand’s 100th anniversary.

Being one of the market-leading brands in a country that embraces cycling as much as the Netherlands does shows the high-regard Gazelle is held in.

The company now employs 450 staff to make 300,000 bikes annually with an extensive line-up of e-bike models in the range.

Mike Isaac, country manager for Gazelle, said: “As a key event in the industry calendar, we are really looking forward to being part of COREbike for the first time. The venue provides a great environment for us to showcase our latest range of e-bikes, including the new Eclipse and Medeo, along with our new GPS system, Gazelle Connect.

“The team from the UK and Netherlands are looking forward to welcoming our dealers to the show, but also excited to talk with new dealers about our brand and the dealer support we offer”.

The Gazelle team will be resident in the Melbourne room at COREbike and are promising some Dutch snacks and drinks for dealers dropping by to see them.

Brighton-based bike brand Reilly Cycleworks will be showcasing its titanium frames at COREbike for the first time this year.

The brand has been at the forefront of desirable titanium bike design in the UK, and is currently in the process of expanding its retailer network throughout the country.

Exhibiting at COREbike for this first time in 2023, Reilly plans to highlight the perks of its products for retailers, including a 33% margin on framesets, and complete bike builds at a slightly reduced rate of 27%. All Reilly titanium frames also come with a lifetime warranty for the first owner, offering dealers peace of mind.

Chris Ratcliff, Reilly Cycleworks’ business development director, said: “We are looking to expand our UK network by building solid relationships with bike shops and workshops around the country who understand the Reilly brand and ethos. We’re conscious there are shops that are not familiar with the brand in its current incarnation and COREbike presents a perfect platform to showcase our product and network.”

You can find the Reilly Cycleworks team, Phil, Chris and Isaac, at COREbike in the Syndicate Room S30 (near the dining area.)

Reilly models on show at COREbike will be:

  • Reilly’s advanced Fusion Titanium Aero Road Disc with stand-out features including its sleek investment cast 6AL-4V titanium head tube, invisible welds and aero ‘Kamm tail’ seat stays. An “excellent bike with the performance and looks of carbon, but the stunning comfort and longevity of titanium,” said road.cc who named the Fusion one of the best road bikes of 2022.
  • The best-selling ‘do-it-all’ Gradient gravel bike, based on the adventure geometry which Mark Reilly perfected over a 30-year frame building career. Mark’s design work on the Gradient was so progressive that its launch pre-dated the whole gravel phenomenon. The Gradient is the embodiment of titanium’s renowned ‘flex and flow’ guaranteeing all-day comfort.
  • Reilly’s classic round-tubed T325 road / sportive bike, available in both caliper or disc brake versions. Fast, responsive and surprisingly lightweight, the much-lauded T325 perfectly balances the best qualities of titanium (stiffness, weight, comfort and durability) to produce an exceptionally direct, but smooth road experience.

Ratcliff added: “We are titanium evangelists and believe we have a bike to suit every rider, whether that’s novice commuters seeking greater comfort, seasoned sportive riders, multi-day bikepackers or ultra-distance fanatics. Nothing quite matches the joy of riding titanium and we are seeking out like-minded dealers who are as passionate as we are about highlighting the benefits. We’re looking forward to connecting with store owners to discuss how we can best support them to increase sales and awareness of Reilly bikes. It’s a precarious time for bike businesses, but I believe if we support each other, we can come out fighting.”

Reilly will also be attending iceBike North and iceBike South in March, and taking a stand at The Cycle Show at Alexandra Palace in April.

UItra Sport Europe has released its highlight products on display at this year’s COREbike, including Berria bikes.

Taking place from 19th-21st February, COREbike returns to its regular venue Whittlebury Hall in Northamptonshire, with a full line-up of brands and distributors.

Alongside products from its safety-wear portfolio, including Smith helmets, goggles, and sunglasses, Ultra sport will be showcasing Berria bikes, its first bike brand partnership in more than 20 years.

Ultra Sport sales director Neil Staples said: “It’s been more than twenty years since we last distributed a bike (K2/ProFlex) but we’ve always had our eyes out for a suitable range.  Now, with Berria, we’re proud to put our efforts behind a bike brand that we really believe in. I cannot wait to show our customers what an amazing range we have to offer – road, mountain, gravel, e-bike – it’s all beautifully spec’d and presented.”

Staples added: “This is really a pre-launch viewing as we line up for the 2024 collection.  Understanding the state of the bike market we’re going to move forward softly, slowly, with just a few of the best  retailers at this time. Selective distribution with carefully managed supply to protect retailer margins is paramount.  We’re not looking to set the world alight but we are looking to set Berria on the road to success.”

Alongside Berria and Smith there is also a host of accessory products. Eyewear from Pit Viper will be on show.

“You have to see it to believe it,”  said director Thierry Way.

“You also have to see the sell-thru numbers to believe them.  Every new stockist is really taken by surprise – they cannot believe how well Pit Viper sells – they’re flying out the door.”

Also on display at Core are some more traditional products from Aleck and Tocsen offering communication and safety technology products.  Finally look out for the aluminium drinking bottle, with a unique twist, from Les Artiste and socks from American Socks.

“Hopefully it’s worth sticking your head round the door to take a look,” added Way.

Ultra Sport can be found at CORE on stands S31 and S32.
