Styrkr launches BAR+ post-workout recovery snack

British sports nutrition brand Styrkr is introducing its latest addition to the range with the launch of BAR+, a post-workout recovery snack.

Bar+ contains 45g of carbohydrates and 15g of protein in a scientifically-proven 3:1 ratio that helps optimise recovery, restoring muscle glycogen levels after a workout – and getting you ready to go big, all over again.

Developed by sports nutrition experts and tested by professional athletes, the gluten-free snack is formulated to meet the highest standards of performance and nutrition.

The power of recovery

Bar+ features puffed rice and soya crispies in a resilient matrix of vegan caramel and vegan protein powder, containing real fruit.

Its carefully concocted structure has been selected so that a bar can survive in all climates, whether in a backpack in the baking sun or a zipped back pocket in the depths of winter – and it comes in three enticing flavours: Raspberry White Chocolate, Lemon Drizzle and Salted Caramel.

Styrkr (stir-kuh) recommends protein intake following exercise for optimal recovery – and a high-carbohydrate intake to replenish muscle glycogen levels.

A part of the regime

As a new weapon in Styrkr’s fuelling arsenal, the introduction of Bar+ further enables athletes at every level to push their limits and maintain strength for their next endeavour.

“After months of development and testing, we landed on a bar that combines the great taste and durability of our award-winning Bar50 with a science-backed formula for optimal recovery,’ says Managing Director, Christian Sanderson.

“Bar+ is designed with an optimal 3:1 carbohydrate-to-protein ratio to taste great, help athletes recover faster – and continue on their journey to be the best they can be.”

Recover differently with Bar+ and fuel your ambition today!
