Le Col incorporates Pertex fabric in AW24 collection

British cycling apparel brand Le Col has announced the introduction of Pertex technical fabrics into its AW24 collection.

This partnership is designed to highlight the innovative use of Pertex fabric, a material favoured by outdoor enthusiasts for its lightweight durability and weather resistance.

Le Col’s AW24 collection integrates Pertex’s technology, ensuring cyclists can experience increased protection against the elements without compromising on comfort or agility.

With a focus on endurance and performance in extreme conditions, the collection is tailored for cyclists seeking functionality in their gear.

“Our new AW24 collection is engineered to give cyclists the freedom to ride with confidence, no matter the weather,” said Jen Choi, product lead at Le Col.

“We’re proud to integrate Pertex technology into our gear, ensuring maximum performance and comfort in any environment.”

The Pertex fabric range, including the Pertex Quantum and Pertex Shield, offers a balance between weight and strength.

Designed for extreme conditions, these fabrics provide lightweight protection while maintaining flexibility and breathability.

Developed to offer increased air permeability, Pertex Quantum Air balances wind resistance with breathability.

Meanwhile, Pertex Shield is a high-performance fabric with durable water-repellency and windproof capabilities. This fabric is ideal for extreme-weather outerwear.

“Working in close collaboration with the team at Le Col, we’ve developed Pertex fabrics tailored to match the exacting performance needs of their riders,” added Andy Laycock, brand director at Pertex.

“The fabrics provide lightweight and reliable weather protection, for use in the most demanding environments.”

Le Col has taken its existing products to a new level with the AW24 collection, utilising Pertex fabrics and updating the fit and engineering across key pieces.

The result is a collection that is lighter, more packable, and more protective than before.
