Pinarello and Zwift have unveiled their latest real-life collaboration which sees Pinarello’s flagship road bike, the Dogma F, available to purchase in a highly limited-edition Zwift and Watopia-inspired colourway.
Only 50 Dogma F framesets have been ‘Designed in Watopia’, utilizing Zwift’s bold and playful brand colours, each one adopting Pinarello’s popular ‘cut’ paint scheme, making the frameset a special collector’s item for Pinarello and Zwift fans worldwide.
The striking frameset had previously only been available to the public on Zwift’s in-game virtual world of Watopia, as just one of the many successful partnerships between the two brands since Zwift’s launch 10 years ago.
As a progression from the successful Pinarello x Zwift ZRacing event series which ran in September this year, Zwifters now have the option to ride this unique frame both in Watopia and out on the road.
The limited-edition bike made their public debut, being unveiled at Rouleur Live, on Thursday 14th November on the Pinarello stand.
First come, first served
The limited edition Pinarello Dogma F Zwift framesets are available on a first come, first served basis and customers must contact their local Pinarello retailer to organize their purchase.
RRP: €6,700 / £5,500 / $6,950
Fausto Pinarello, president of Pinarello, said: “The Dogma F is the pinnacle of performance and design. This limited edition frameset combines the spirit of Watopia with our racing heritage and offers this unique opportunity for Zwift riders who demand both beauty and performance to elevate their outdoor rides.”
Zwift turns 10
To celebrate turning 10 the pioneer of virtual world riding hosted a series of rides, with the Tour of Watopia comprising 5 stages.
The first four stages include a greatest hits of fan-favourite routes from the last decade, allowing Zwifters to rediscover some of the most beloved courses Watopia has to offer, whilst also sampling some of the newest areas of this vast, virtual land.
Stage five was revealed on Tuesday, 12 November – with the launch of a Jarvis Island expansion. Taking riders back to 2014, Jarvis Island was the very first route in Zwift during our beta days. The expansion saw the platform reintroduce the route, having added 5 km of new road off the coast of the Volcano Mountain.
