With the introduction of X-Connect, Cube bikes has sought to make it simpler to equip bikes with new or upgraded lighting.
X-Connect, a plug-and-play solution, enables riders to connect lights quickly, reducing the hassle and complicated steps often associated with mounting and removing lights.
The X-Connect comes standard on several Cube e-bikes in the 2025 collection – with models such as the Reaction Hybrid and Stereo Hybrid series – with the connector seamlessly integrated into the headset.
On other e-bikes, like the Kathmandu Hybrid, X-Connect is semi-integrated, with the cable emerging from the headtube for quick and easy lighting installation.
E-bikes without the X-Connect connector, but featuring the Bosch Smart System can also benefit from this technology using a special BES3-to-X-Connect cable.
Even for traditional bikes, Cube offers a solution: the ACID Power Bank 37, which enables riders to make the most of the new X-Connect lighting system.
To get the best out of X-Connect, Cube is introducing three high-quality front lights from ACID, tailored to meet cyclists’ needs:
