In February Weldtite are to roll out a £20 000 marketing campaign for their TF2 brand which was named best product in its sector earlier this year in a report by the Kingston University School of Mechanical Engineering.
TF2 was found to be doubly effective as a protector compared to rival brands, says a Weldtite press release. TF2 contains super-slippy Teflon. The promotional canisters of TF2 will carry 10 percent more lube than standard canisters, yet the price will remain the same.
The marketing campaign is made up of £15 000 in magazine advertisements, £2500 in consumer giveaways and £3000 in below the line promotions via TF2s distributors.
IBDs who display the new TF2 stocked here window stickers could win £100-worth of TF2 at trade because two shops a month will be mystery shopped to see who is displaying the POS materials.
